Rubber Boots

I have researched the tech needed for the rubber boots and I have made rubber and I have the crafting station, but the rubber boots don't show up in the crafting station recipes. Am I missing an ingredient or did I need to do something else?

 

Also the swim wear is locked behind  radiation research, but I don't see any forms of radiation on the asteroid yet, so that seems a little frustrating. Maybe just put it with atmo suits? It seems like it should be before even atmo suits.

 

Mainly this seems really fun and I'm enjoying the aquatic ranching. I like that the room doesn't have to be a certain amount of tiles because with so many pools and different creatures I'm trying to leave as much of the map as I found it as possible.

boots are made at the textile loom, you get the garenteed uranium boulder for your initial rad research+ there is a forest biome with shinebugs

Thank you, I don't usually build a textile loom. But the tooltip on the research screen says the crafting station, that is why I was confused.

No but to get the swim suit pattern does. Plus the tooltip on the research tree shows it as a crafting station pattern, that was what confused me.
