I love the new items and challenges added, but I don't exactly feel thrilled about them either? I think we actually reached the difficult part of the game development where anything further on without engine changes will be difficult to add anything extraordinary. Once shadow side is finished there's only much to do as refine balance, progression, skilltrees and world generation. 

What's next after that tho? I got 10k hours out of this game cause of updates keeping it engaging, rift ones just feel kinda "there" if you know what I mean. It's a very SHORT experience for a "lategame", cause most of lategame I feel is in doing the two current story bosses without the need of rifts. Most resources and things to make survival viable and easier are already there.

There is nothing to the rift content of substance to feel like there's a whole new journey to reach THOSE big bosses besides that MOST of the journey is already BEFORE rifts is already done and that's the longest part imo.

Speedrunners are making it more pitiful and less engaging in public servers to want to even reach those endings cause of how easy and streamlined pearl's quests and reaching atrium became.

I play Willow so that'll probs be free real estate lol.

I remember it being quite challenging before due to the lunar hail doing damage without the Umbralla, so we would hide under trees XD.
