Baark0
This has probably been mentioned before, however I just learned that despite being required to craft brambleshade armor, lunar guardian 1's root effect doesn't work with brambleshade. Frankly, this makes very little sense, considering brambleshade armor is meant to be an upgrade to both bramble husks and brightshade armor. With this being one of Wormwood's affinity skills, I really feel like brambleshade armor should have the root effect, especially when its competing with bone armor for late game body slot equipment. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/171468-brambleshade-armor-really-should-have-the-root-effect-from-lunar-guardian-1/ Share on other sites
ShadowbirdRH
As hard as they push the brightshade/dreadstone stuff, the Bramble Husk really is exceptional in dealing with swarms. I can see why they'd want to try to avoid going too far in buffing it. Maybe the Brambleshade Armor could get the root effect if they downgraded the counter-spike from AoE to single-target, like the Cactus Armor from Shipwrecked? You could still use basic Bramble Husks to have access to the AoE counter-spike, that way they'd both still have utility rather than one rendering the other completely obsolete. Think that'd be fair, or would it be best for the Brambleshade Armor to have it all?
