“Rest mode” for auto-grabbers?

Is there any way to have auto-grabbers present without them handing me random stuff every time I pick up the one item I need? My bases tend towards the messy side and trying to pick up whatever tool I left on the ground while auto-grabbers are present results in me having to drop a bunch of stuff I didn’t want to pick up and I was hoping there’s an answer other than unplugging my implanted fuel/horror every time I’m in base.

True, they are so annoying. They pick up everything and clog your inventory just because you wanted to pick one item off the ground. They should only give you items you already have in your inventory to HELP you, not clog your inventory.

A similar rest mode should also be added to the possession chassis of the Moon camp, which is suitable for situations where you don't want to take them along and don't want to kill them
