Your Chester
In terms of movement speed and health points, the Robot completely outperforms Wigfrid. The total damage dealt by the Moon-aligned doppelgänger surpasses that of the combat-focused character Wigfrid, and the damage multiplier of the Shadow-aligned build is fully on par with Wigfrid’s. What’s more, its 21 circuit slots make it far stronger than the old version of the Robot. The Robot is overwhelmingly overpowered right now. The skill tree’s low-cost quick resurrection and low-cost map teleportation abilities are also ridiculously strong. Its alignment mechanics and thoughtful design completely outshine the skill trees of both Wigfrid and Wendy. As an all-round powerhouse boasting great movement speed, quality-of-life perks, and top-tier combat capability, the Robot’s skill tree should be balanced to the mediocre standard set by Wigfrid and Wendy’s skill trees. The current skill tree of the Robot is still far too broken. Either set a unified balance standard—make all meta strong characters get garbage skill trees—or completely rework Wendy and Wigfrid’s skill trees. Treat every character fairly and with proper design effort, don’t take players for fools. Wigfrid has more than half of her skill points going into totally useless perks, and her skill tree only has 23 skills—the smallest roster out of all character skill trees. Most of her bonuses only add trivial, completely negligible perks that barely matter at all. 2 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/171184-any-overpowered-character-ought-to-be-designed-to-the-same-trash-skill-tree-level-as-wigfrid-and-wendy/ Share on other sites

What suggestions do you have for WX-78's alignment skills? I'm curious. Lord-King-Bear
We get that your mad about wig. Honestly tho Wx takes away a lot of the challenge of the game. Just got enlightened crown and it doesn’t even matter to him I already have infinite light now desire to run toad for lights. Cassielu
This sounds like an act of retaliation against society to me. All they need is a basic and weak skill tree like Wilson's. The deliberately frustrating designs like those of Wig and Wendy should not exist more. Most of her bonuses only add trivial, completely negligible perks that barely matter at all. Actually robot needs more time to setup than Wigfrid or Wendy. Wigfrid has damage boost, vampiric capabilities, cheap armor, shield, easy beefalo taming for speed - allearly on. She recieves AoE at later stages in the game + her songs require time to craft but overall she has an easy start. Wendy is kinda same, she had AoE out of pocket and some quality of life potions are boring but easily amassed. Yes I agree their skill trees are somewhat weaker than for example Walter, Wortox, or Willow. But this part Klei will surely address. Why you won't complain about Wilson actually? He has least powefrul skill tree, and Wolfgang has the most boring one. Anyway, WX reaches his power slowly cause they've nerfed how fast you get your circuits (e.g. nightvision requires also scanning a firefly and traveling to caves for lightbulbs at least besides just catching a mole). AoE is locked behind spring. QoL inventory circuit is locked kinda same way as elden spear for Wigfrid. You spend early game just gathering bio-data/scanning diffferent creatures for circuits with low stats and water vulnerability so early game feels like you're worse than Wilson. Only after visiting the ruins probably it start to feel better but not because of skill tree - just because you have gears now and probably vision/speed curcuits, which actually is quite same as it was. Now you need to spend your resources to setup these chassises (and you want to visit specific places to place them wise), add proper circuits to each, have food for each, have resources for each, have weapons and armor for each. Of course such upkeep which is really long would feel much better if you can transport resources and explore map not only by foot. I don't know if you tried to play as WX but early game he is really slow poor guy which requires expirience in the game. Skill tree actually made him a bit worse than it was early game. While late game he extremely shines. And this is about playstyle and goals. If you plan to run long-term world, he is cool. If you plan to do a boss rush, take Wolfgang/Willow. If you join public server and want to encourage everyone to fight - pick Wigfried. If you want to show everyone who is real spider queen on public server - pick Wendy. I mean, everyone agrees there's disbalance in skill trees, but Klei recognizes it already, so please be patient. I don't think Klei initially had in mind what they'll do with every character skills so each new skill tree is kinda a response for community reactions/expectations, so I think their best approach for now would be to finish all characters skill trees to than make proper comparisons and reworks. They've decided reworks has more priority than other characters skill trees - okay for me, I think you should be happy because it means the issues with Wigfried and Wendy will be addressed sooner. No need to harass robot, they understand and share your pain.
