Is there a reason why every time a dupe picks up a dream journal, it immediately drops it?

The Synthesizer is activated, it has oxygen being pumped into it, I have a dupe producing journals.  So why does no one understand how to carry a freaking book?

A common cause for situations like this is atmosuits.  If you have fewer docks than dupes, then you can have a dupe pick up the job when a suit was available, go to get the dream journal, then realize there is no suit available and drop the task.

It is best to have as many atmosuits as you have duplicants allowed to leave your base.

Honestly, I think such multi-step jobs should reserve a suit for the dupe, but they don't.

Use conveyor rails. Journals always spawns at the same place, brain machine doesnt go anywhere either. Perfect task for automated delivery

Not enough head space for a sweeper.  It's probably the atmo suit thing.  On another topic, I find myself with way too much pH2O.  Between the slush geyser (which I've turned off the pump for), the 4 Natural gas generators, and the two new petroleum generators, I have a surplus.  What consumes pH2O?

Thimble Reeds, Arbor Trees, Pincha Peppernuts, and Water Sieves.

Also, a hydra that i accidentally left the surplus connected to.  Surplus gone now.  Oh well 😛
