DSE Console Suggestions

To avoid a lot of the pitfalls with the console editions, I hope Klei can keep these things in mind.

1. Have chat supported across all systems if its available on PC. Pressure Nintendo on this.

2. Manage your update timing so that Switch users aren't lagging months behind. 

3. Enable mouse support on console and make use of the Switch 2 joycon cursor. Don't half ass it.

4. Have dedicated play testers for controller control schemes. Message me and I'll be happy to be part of this.

5. Make sure there is consistent quality. Xbox has some bug where you can't join others. PS had 20 day roll backs. Switch is still dealing with constant crashing. Don't throw the game on console for a cash grab. We want quality too.

6. Please do not separate online and offline worlds. Especially with a Switch release. It doesn't make sense to have this separation, and in the case of Switch, takes away from some of the appeal. I think most of us would be happier if we could progress our important worlds with or without a connection. I mainly want to play with friends, but want the option to open my main world while on a bus, train, or plane.

7. A way to backup worlds and play in a legacy mode in case updates break something. 

8. Console commands available in case something stupid happens like wobot vanishing in a long term world.

9. More than 5 worlds.

The switch already sounds like the worst console to own this on 

 

Unless it has a significant single player focus I think it's hard to justify this on the switch 

 

 

Particularly when the next generation alternatives will be out around this games likely launch

Yeah hun I’m sorry, I’m not paying 1000$ for a PS6 to play a new DS game, it has to launch on the current Gen consoles or I simply won’t be able to afford to play it. 😂

Well the new Xbox is allegedly a full on pc 

Ps6 is still a mystery 

But on paper xbox helix seems like the clear cut best console for this game!
