  1. 1. Do you use different circuit on different chassis?

    • Of course, I made them all different

    • No I like them all the same

    • I don't even pick chassis perks

WX's new backup chassis and consciousness transfer ability allow us to design different circuit plan for different chassis for different usages. Please share your circuit plan and their design idea. It's better if your skill tree attached too cause it influence how the circuits perform. There're mine:

2 Insights saved for gamma and affinity finished

Main body:

  • Alpha: 2 Super-Gastrogain Circuit, 1 Beanbooster Circuit. (300 hunger/200 sanity/100 health, I'll just use 300/200/100 below.)
  • Beta: 1 Light Circuit, 2 Speed Circuit and 2 Light Circuit(from upper to lower), the upper Light Circuit can be replaced in late game to like Space Circuit.
  • Gamma: I'm not so sure because they are not finish yet, so I just skip them below.

The idea of this body is to hunger slower, auto regen, and deal with some small fights. The high speed enhances the mobility of short trips and light obsoletes lantern. It can also deal boss fights that you can easily avoid injury with high speed, like Deerclops, Ancient Guardian, etc.

On the ground:

1. Battle body:

  • Alpha: 3 Super-hardy Circuit, 1 Hardy Circuit. (100/100/440)
  • Beta: 1 Light Circuit, 3 Electric Circuit.

The idea of this body is to fight the tough fights, which it's hard to avoid injury, especially Bee Queen. I usually use it to fight Bee Queen with marble suit and thulecite crown, eat 3~4 gears allows you fight her without any skill.

2. Home body:

  • Alpha: No circuit at all. (100/100/100) Or 2 Beanbooster Circuits(100/300/100)
  • Beta: 1 Light Circuit, 3 Speed Circuit.

The idea of this body is to deal with chores, AND gain extra stat regen from the mechanism. It can provides 3x hunger regen and 4.4x health regen maximum. Let me explain to prevent anyone from not knowing the mechanism:

Spoiler

Your stats will be proportional transfer to chassis. If you have 10 hp left and with 400 max hp body, you can transfer to a body with 100 max hp. Current hp will become 2.5(10/400 = 2.5/100), and eat a blue cap it become 22.5. Transfer back to 400 max hp body, your current hp will be 90(90/400 = 22.5/100)

3. Control body:

  • Alpha: 3 Super-Gastrogain Circuit, 1 Hardy Circuit.(400/100/140)
  • Beta: 1 Light Circuit, 6 Rangebooster Circuit.

The idea of this body is to control Roto-Mapper. Default size of the world is 425 x 425 tiles. [Field Survey I] perk provides 50 tiles mapper control range. Each Rangebooster Circuits provides 25 tiles range, so it's 200 tiles in total(it's the radius of control range). It allows you unlock almost entire ocean map with out sailing. Put it on the middle of map, wipe all fog of war and sail to target directly if you need to. In mid or late game it can be changed into another battle body to put on lunar island or pearl's island.

In the cave:

1. Ruin body:

  • Alpha: 2 Super-hardy Circuit, 1 Beanbooster Circuit. (100/200/300)
  • Beta: 1 Nightvision Circuit, 3 Spatializer Circuit.

The idea of this body is to loot ruins. It can be the chest in ruins too. If the ruins are auto clear by Anenemy, Nightvision can be changed to another 3 Spatializer and 1 Light. Super-hardy can be changed to Super-Gastrogain.

2. Fumarole body:

  • Alpha: 2 Super-hardy Circuit, 1 Beanbooster Circuit. (100/200/300)
  • Beta: 1 Nightvision Circuit, 1 Refrigerant Circuit.

The idea of this body is to loot Boulderbough, one of the most valuable resource in late game. With Refrigerant Circuit and Thermal Stone, you should be immune to the heat in Fumarole area. If Geothermites are controlled with walls, Super-hardy can be changed to Super-Gastrogain.

3. Atrium body:

  • Alpha: 2 Super-hardy Circuit, 1 Beanbooster Circuit. (100/200/300)Or 1 Super-hardy Circuit, 1 Beanbooster Circuit, 1 Super-processing Circuit.(100/300/200)
  • Beta: 1 Light Circuit, 2 Speed Circuit, 1 Electric Circuit.

Of course it's used for Fuelweaver fight.

I might change them after gamma circuits fully finished and affinity came out, but it's my current circuit plans. What's yours?

Current skill tree. Gamma circuits are kinda weak atm so I'm not really using them. Will probably swap transport II for an affinity once it comes out.

Now onto chasisses:

Spoiler

Fighting chasis: Eventually swap electric circuit for 1 super light and 1 spatializer to carry lucky horseshoes. Sometimes swap hardy(small) for gastro(small) if I'm feeling like it.

Spoiler

Base building chasis: Another super light instead of spatializer before moonstorms

Spoiler

Caves/ruins chasis (First trip): Once I tame all clockworks I swap electro and light circuits for optoelectronic, then add one spatializer after moonstorms

Eventually I leave another copy of the chasis in the ruins to farm boulderboughs or craft more thule clubs once I get enough horseshoes.

Spoiler

Summer/Winter chasis: swap thermal/refrigerant depending on the season. Those have to be in the upperside for I'm not picking the skill to freely remove from anywhere

Spoiler

Chest chasis (Only after moonstorms): I dislike sacrificing the first enlightment crown to craft elastispacers, so I instead use this. Before moonstorms, I place this chasis on pearl island to do the quest and then move it back to mainland.

The Zaptrocuter drone ended up being kind of worthless... once the affinity skills come out I'll probably use that skill point on it. I also don't think I need the bigger storage drones - I would probably take Right to Modify instead.

The General-Purpose Chassis
This one carries all the rot I have and whenever I'm doing something that involves a lot of idling (like fighting a slurtle or waiting for a storage drone to arrive) I eat the rot because I'm bored and it makes Nutribricks

The Combat Chassis (With The Shadow Maul and a lot of Lucky Horseshoes in a Expansive Storage Unit)

The One That Sits On Top Of The Crops And Eats Nutribricks And Sometimes Farms Wood With Pigs

The Moon Quay Island Chassis and Barnacle Farmer (yeah this one's kind of neglected)
