The werepig is chained at the start so scanning it would be easy. Also taking Webbers whole thing with one circuit is too much. The spider circuit is unfortunate due to the nature of the spider queen hat. In addition, WX has the 2.0 acceleration circuit, which is currently a must-have. The strength circuit allows player to choose between convenient dodging or more effective tanking. Weevious Posted April 4 Share Posted April 4 Like everyone else, I really like the Alpha and Gamma circuit ideas. Being able to jump would be fun, I've messed around with Wolfgang's Mighty Leap in the Uncompromising Mode mod, and it would be really fun to do that as WX, they also desperately need another 2 size gamma circuit. If the 'A Stomach of Steel' circuit were in the game, I would have it be the triple-upgrade version of the Gastrogain Circuit and take up 3 slots the same way the Beanbooster is the super-upgrade of the Processing Circuit. Then I would make the hunger health and sanity gain for eating metalic parts as good as eating gears. Maybe WX-78 would ONLY be able to eat gears with that Circuit equipped, it would give the Hardy Circuits fierce competition, with easy to access healing items you might not even want to use a hardy circuit anymore! Anyways that was me jumping off with my own ideas using yours as a basis. I don't actually think your circuit needs changing, I think it's well designed and it's a nice alternative to a super-gastrogain circuit! I actually like your damage boost circuits, since it comes at the cost of a speed boost, as they're both beta circuits. To be consistent with the acceleration circuit and illumination circuit, I would have it so the damage multipliers don't increase when upgraded, the circuit would ONLY get smaller, allowing you to equip more of them for a total of 30% damage boost with 3 super-combat circuits enabled. I would also name it 'Smash Circuit' so the upgrade would be the "Super-Smash Circuit," as a reference to Super Smash Bros. I think this would also make WX-78 the only character in the game with a speed boost AND damage boost at the same time. I also take issue with scanning a pig, that's a bit too easy since they're neutral mobs, you should have to scan a Werepig to get it. I also agree it would be too good if you were able to scan the Primal Werepig while he was still chained. I think an easy solution for that would be simply only allowing the Primal Werepig to be scanned AFTER he is defeated. Another solution is giving the scan to Scrappy Werepig instead of Primal Werepig, since you have to beat Primal Werepig for the Scrappy Werepig to spawn. It's also worth noting that the Acceleration Circuit already reduces the penalty of Marble Armor with beta circuit tinkering. I think it should make it so your armor takes 6% less damage per circuit (18% less damage with 3 Super-Smash Circuits equipped). It's a combat circuit so I think it makes sense for the combat buff to buff armor, this contrasts with the Hardy Circuit that gives YOU damage resistance but your armor takes the regular amount of damage. I don't see a reason for WX to have a circuit that allows them to co-exist with spiders. It's very specific and with circuit tinkering it creeps in on Webber's territory. You can't just take Webber's abilities, that's all he has! Here's my idea for a replacement that also allows you traverse spider-y areas safely, the 'Silk-Step Circuit' allows you to walk on spider webs without triggering spiders or being slowed down by webs. It also prevents you from being slowed down by craters (such as the ones spawned by Antlion). With circuit tinkering it ALSO makes spiders neutral to you so you can walk near them during dusk. It takes up 4 slots, so maybe it should allow you to safely walk past hostile mobs in general, like they don't aggro on to you as fast, allowing you to mine rocks near tallbirds safely and traverse the ruins much easier. It wouldn't be an exceptionally strong circuit but I'm sure someone would like it. I would also change the scan to a spider warrior rather than a level 3 spider den because I think scanning stationary objects is weird, spider dens tend to be well protected though, so it's not a scan that's too easy or anything. Overall I really like your circuit ideas!
