Random idea, WX78 Refigeration circuit buff.

Klei says they want to give WX78’s circuits more use/upgrades, and recently I’d been thinking about the refrigerant circuit (the one that lets him make ice) and  I then I remembered having a conversation with someone about how Shipwrecked Boats game mechanics just felt like “Water Shoes” & I thought it would be cool to suggest giving WX78 actual “Water Shoes” like they could “glide” over water like Shadow the Hedgehog does with his special shoes, it can leave behind an icey trail that only lasts for a few brief seconds.

To balance it out and prevent it being OP, if WX78 stops moving, the icey trail under their feet ceases to produce.

This could incentivize equipping/upgrading the Refigerant circuit & give WX more cool skills to invest in (pun intended )

Great idea. Paired with the Personal Floater, you can defeat Crab King without taking damage, freely travel between all islands, and open the map to check your location

Haha okay now that’s ironic, quick update: I just unlocked Killer Frost in Lego DC Super Villains and she does EXACTLY what I just described above gliding around on water leaving an icey trail, Man that sure is weird… but it just goes to show how it’s a great concept idea.

I suppose for Balancing purposes in DST how it would work with WX78 is it would obviously require Ice as a Fuel Source & skill point investment/ 2 or 3 fridge circuits applied (not a problem since WX creates the Ice slowly overtime)

Not sure. I feel like this helps WX outclass Woodie since Wx also has decent resource gathering now, and speed

Killer frost referance tho nice

Maybe this should be a mid or late game item all characers could craft or eat which gives them this effect temporarly.

Feels like a pearl craft or boss drop.
