At the moment, when you switch from one body to another, it uses your stats and adjusts them proportionally to that body's maximum stats. This doesn't really make sense, and makes it so it's more efficient to, say, eat food or use healing items on a 100/100/100 body, which feels weird to do.

I agree it would be cool if they had their own hunger or whatever

I agree on this for the health and hunger, and I beilive its already that way for charge.
But Wx-78 is transfering their knowledge/conciousness between bodies, so having sanity remain at the % it was at before the transfer makes sense.

oh, also unrelated, but could we get an option to let other players open our back-ups' inventories, similar to having the option to unlock Woby's inventory?

could be cool. Mine is never going to be open 🤣

If each body had its own particular stats, you could use them as a super healing system as well.

For example, you could leave a body next to a boss arena equipped with health circuits to full. After taking a ton of damage, you switch to your full-health body with 400+ HP. That’s probably just as strong as healing a 100/100/100 base body, I guess.

If nerfing this system is important because healing a base stats body becomes the meta (I personally wouldn't do that), I’d change it so that every time you switch bodies, in addition to losing one charge, you spawn with 100/100/100 regardless of your bodies max stats. And if your stats are lower than that, then the lower numbers carry over instead.

that would kinda blow, imho.

But anyway, my main issue with how it works currently is more so, that it just doesn't make sense for hp/hunger of the bodies to carry over between them, since it's like... a body's own durability and fuel (sanity, as was pointed out, does make sense, though). It just feels kinda weird and not how one would expect it to work, especially since circuits and charges are individual to each body.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind if each WX had their own health and hunger tied to that backup. Sanity should stay the same tho.
Because rn I can just be triple hp circuit tank, swap to an unupgraded 100 hp WX, munch a couple of healing foods, and transfer back and be magically healed to full.

If this change were to happen, bringing multiple bodies to a boss fight would still take more time to get there, remove some of your teleport spots, and either mean you still have to heal up each individual body afterwards or have a beanbooster and spend time in all of them

And you likely wouldnt want all your bodies to be ones oreinted for combat.

I wouldnt consider making this change as one made to prevent people from healing in unupgrraded bodies to get more out of healing, thats more of a side effect from a change that feels like it just makes sense.
