Despite having diminishing returns most of the time, its always rewarding to have more of horseshoes for extra luck. However, carrying horseshoes is greatly limited by inventory space itself and their own small stacksize.

At some point you are forced to abandon keeping or getting more of them as you can't afford any more space for them. I believe this is unnecessary as luck effects already have an unreachable cap due to hyperbolic function for most use cases and there is no reason to restrict players any further than that, especially considering that harms event's replayability value by killing the incentive to fight knights once you have more horseshoes that you can afford to carry.

I suggest applying similar mechanic as the one present in Hamlet for oincs to make full stacks of horseshoes be automatically converted to tenpiece horseshoes that stack to 10 as well, and full stack of those will likewise turn into centapiece horseshoe.

To turn them back you'd need to drop them on the ground and right-click to dismantle into lower tier or offload into elastispaced chest (where they would always be stored as regular horseshoes and turned back into compounds as player takes them into inventory).
