Can we Save & Quit mid run?

Hello

I picked up the game today and been enjoying what I have played so far, however I wasn't sure if we are able to save & quit mid run?

I couldn't seem to do it from the menu, however is there a check point or something that let's you save and quit mid run, or is possible another way?

Or does this game simply not allow that mid run, meaning you have to commit to seeing the run through to conclusion when you start one.

Hi Riaktion, the game doesn't support saving and continuing mid run. You can choose Return to Camp from the pause menu to save the current items you have found. However you will need to restart the run again next time. If you are playing on the Switch 2 there is the option to sleep the game and come back later also.
