supply closet bug?

I can have x2 items, which should mean 3. Because you have both a lit item tile, you have a x1 lit tile, and then using a x2 tile, I expected to be able to recycle 2 items and still have one left.

So the count is not working correctly. I lost a set of basic green gloves. From a x2 tile we should be getting 3 items. Or there is no reason to have an un-numbered tile and the x1 tile.

AFAIK, x2 means you have 2 items.  I don't think I've seen a lit tile without an x-something beside it.

Addendum:

I just checked and there are items in the supply closet that are lit without numbers.  Those are ones you get through expansion packs and so can not be sold or destroyed.  Any item you can collect always has an x number beside it.  So x1 means you have one set, x2 means you have two, etc.
