Tho my best guess as to why it isn't a thing already is cause there really hadn't ever been any skin sets for any of the mobs/creatures you can come across and interact/fight with in The Constant, and Wurt's merm followers still technically fall under that I suppose. Why not merms? If I recall correctly lure plants are actually considered more as structures similar to other plants like trees so they get a pass. And Chester and Hutch are living creatures but they're also technically an item that you can come across that acts as extra storage so they're a special case I guess. You kinda got a point with the beefalos tho I'm not sure why they get a pass. Maybe cause of the taming mechanic they're a special case too idk.
