[TRANSLATOR WARNING] I am not from an English-speaking country, so I will be writing the text using Google Translate with corrections to the names of game items, etc.

[MESSAGE TO THE DEVELOPERS] Take whatever you want.

[PAINT WARNING] The concept was drawn in Paint, but I tried to convey in more detail the ideas in the concept art that couldn't be described in words.

[COMPLETED WARNING] This post originally only included the first two branches, and then I updated it with replies that added new branches to the tree. This tree is now complete, but due to the volume of information, I may have missed some errors.

Underlined text in italics (like this) is information that I haven't decided what to do with, but for the sake of completeness it was added here with this note.

Hello everyone! Many Don't Starve Together players, especially Webber fans like me, are imagining or sharing their thoughts on the update, for example, on forums while waiting for the refresh. I also wanted to try sharing a concept for Webber's skills on the forums, which, in my opinion, would be quite good for gameplay. I'll start with the skill tree image itself.

764316034_.png.9cb00005eb2de69c4f89a1ce56dc759d.png

The names of each branch:

  • Top: Lunar affinity Bottom:
  • Shadow affinity
  • Left: Human
  • Right: Spider
  • Top left: Toys/Craft
  • Bottom left: Decoration
  • Bottom right: Spider queen
  • Top right: Dens weaving

There are also Switchdoodle and Shaving branches in the tree, but I couldn't find a place for them on the interface.

[HUMAN]

Skill 1:

 1.png.3f00ec8277df567d742232a86853184e.png

Reduces enemy aggro time and radius, increases the duration of taming and reduces the time it takes to tame. Tames bonus companion (except Beefalo and spiders). [PERHAPS]: +25 maximum sanity.

Skill 2:

2.png.11ea4fe80eed979609e671d1e8f8c84b.png

Webber does not scare away friendly creatures (such as rabbits and butterflies) unless he hits/traps/nets them. [PERHAPS]: +25 to Max Sanity.

Skill 3:

3.png.d2b8ad00447301152428a39b0493507e.png

Mobs attacking Webber (such as pigmans and catcoons) will not attack Webber until he attacks them. After that, the creature will attack him every time they encounter until it dies. The aggro spreads to nearby units that initially attack Webber. [PERHAPS]: +25 to Max Sanity.

[SPIDER]

Skill 1:

1.png.0088f3481f71885b6d0ead58abc0b740.png

Increases the maximum number of tamable spiders per one meat to (6-10) and the number of spiders that can be fed in the inventory to (3-6) per one meat. [PERHAPS]: +25 to Max Hunger.

Skill 2:

2.png.1767532b1c0727b93ca6051902a329fe.png

Instead of eating items from the floor, spiders will pick it up and bring it to Webber when they hear a whistle (tamed ones can bring any items that Webber picks up) (a spider only stores one item), their satiety will increase from 5 days in inventory to (7.5-15 days). [PERHAPS]: +25 to Max Hunger.

Skill 3:

3.png.bb3cc5e6f5feb1b7651dc60693c93f62.png

Unlocks two additional hand slots for Webber, which he can equip with tools/weapons to increase his mining efficiency or damage. (He will hold items in the paws on his head.) If his armor, helmet, and hands slots are empty, he will inflict fear on nearby creatures and reduce the sanity of enemy players around him (in PVP). [PERHAPS]: +25 to Max Hunger.

[OTHER]

The aforementioned human or spider skills affect Webber's voice and/or lines.

For example, upgrading the spider branch will make his speech rougher and produce sounds similar to a spider's hiss.

Activating the human branch will incorporate notes from a more human instrument (such as a piano) into his voice.

When leveling up both branches simultaneously, the voice/lines from the branch with the most skills are selected. However, the voice change level will be reduced by the number of skills taken from the other branch. If the levels are equal, the Webber's voice/lines remain unchanged. (It works like the formula V=H-S, where V is the voice/lines, H is the number of human skills taken, S is the number of spider skills, V=0 is the normal voice/lines)

[DENS WEAVING]

Skill 1:

1.png.9e31ee678697b0591a921ee44fedb58a.png

Reduces the amount of resources and time required to create and upgrade dens.

Skill 2:

2.png.943739ad7fa357ffea258739fa18eeb3.png

Allows you to upgrade dens to level 2 and 3 in your inventory in advance.
(Upgraded dens sprite concept)
(2).png.b0d58d2e9404141bc492553acb1980b4.png

Skill 3:

3.png.d4d6ef47208154c762ea3ccf771ac253.png

Allows you to wrap your spiders in dens (Dens capacity for levels: 1st - 3; 2nd - 6; 3rd - 9 spiders). Wrapped spiders do not lose their satiety until they are unwrapped. [PERHAPS]: dens will break [OR] down a level after each unpacking, after unpacking a level one dens it will break.

If a den with wrapped spiders is placed on the ground, wrapped spiders will begin to spawns from it. [PERHAPS]: The maximum number of spiders depends on the number of empty slots. For example: if a den contains only 8 spiders, the ninth will not spawn at all [OR] be replaced with the default spider. After destroying the dens, level 1 spider eggs will drop without [OR] with packed spiders. Dens can be used as a throwing weapon. Wrapped spiders instantly appear at the impact point. The den breaks [OR] or does not break. If it hits a target directly, it instantly deals damage equal to the damage dealt by the wrapped spiders, divided by two and without bonus damage [OR] three with bonus damage per den level.

[TOYS/CRAFT]

Skill 1:

1.png.6ec6902e00e8fda428c213bd25850a9e.png

Unlocks Luxury Webby Whistle and Luxury Shoo Box crafts.

Luxury Webby Whistle has increased durability and range than the standard version ([PERHAPS]: the tool will never break).

Right-clicking opens the action wheel for advanced spider control.

(Whistle Interface)

(Whistle Step Diagram and Explanation)

2121325657_.png.97344e4b46f2b0c75c0ce6f8c62356d9.png

Step 1: You choose the spiders you want to use. (Clicking the "All" option applies the following steps to all tamed spiders).

Step 2: Choose which attacks the spiders will use regardless of distance or situation.

  • Default Mode: Behavior remains unchanged. Spiders use all attacks as usual. [PERHAPS]: After pressing, instead of the ordered attack, the spiders will move to the location selected in step 3.
  • Melee Mode: Only bites are used.
  • Range Mode: All ranged attacks are used (Jumping at the target, spitting).
  • Ability Mode: Spiders use their abilities (Cave spiders hide under their shells, Shattered spiders release spikes, Nurses activate healing).

Step 3: Selects where the spiders will apply the action selected in step 2.

  • None: Spiders simply switch fight tactics without quickly using attacks. [PERHAPS]: After pressing it together with Default Mode in step 2, the selected spiders stop attacking, as after pressing the normal whistle, and run towards the player.
  • Cursor: Quickly apply selected attacks to the location marked by the cursor.
  • At one place: Spiders act instantly without changing location.

Alt + Right Click: Quick cast with default whistle effect without action wheel

Luxury Shoo Box has increased durability and range than the standard version ([PERHAPS]: the tool will never break).

Right-clicking opens the action wheel for advanced spider control.

(Shoo Box Interface)

1390013723_.png.3b9d8d14da1d24ea2900753005c674c0.png

Step 1: You choose the spiders you want to use. (Clicking the "All" option applies the following steps to all tamed spiders).

Step 2: The player selects a command for a specific type of stop following him.

  • Stay at one point: The player can use the cursor to select a place where the spiders will stand and will not run away or follow him. (Spiders remain tame)
  • Finish hire: standard shoo box effect (If the selected spiders were previously given the command to stay in place, then they will stand/lie in the same place untamed)

Skill 2:

2.png.6a4f0cc5d1492d423d71509713527a32.png

Unlocks the Spider Bag Cap craft.

(Default Bag Cap on Webber head/without Webber head)

54099619_.png.a36549adb498e26d1a7ea417634e32ed.png

At first, it has no effects other than adding 5 storage slots when worn, and does not consume durability. Also holds up to 50 Switcherdoodles in one slot. Can be upgraded in two ways.

(Bag Cap upgrading: Level Increasing)

You can place a web in each slot, and by pressing a button you can add additional slots (up to two upgrades). You can also upgrade to a level 3 cap with a Royal Upgrade.

  • Level 1: 5 slots (Does not require webs).
  • Level 2: 7 slots (Fill all 5 Cap slots at level 1 with at least one web).
  • Lecel 3: 9 slots (Fill all 7 Cap slots at level 2 with at least one web).
  • Royal Upgrade: 12 slots, increased durability by 50%, doubled the effect of the next second type of upgrade, new interface and design (put in the level 3 cap 4 webs, 4 spider glands, the head of the spider queen as shown in the following picture [PERHAPS]: in any order).

(Level Increasing scheme)

(Royal Bag Cap on Webber head/without Webber head)

1055856235_.png.5633d6ad8114a230b754a5dd6739e6ff.png
(Bag Cap upgrading: Switchedoodles Synergy)

You can place 1 switcherdoodle in a Cap of any level and by pressing the button, the slot with the switcherdoodle will be locked and the cap will acquire a new effect depending on its type. As I previously wrote, a royal-level cap doubles the effects, but despite the presence of 12 slots, a maximum of 9 upgrades can be installed. If all Bag Cap slots are filled with Switcherdoodle items, all slots except the bottom row are activated. From now on, I'll be describing non-doubled effects. (Q = Number of slots allocated for upgrading with switcherdoodles)

  • Warrior: Adds +3Q damage to the wearer's damage.
  • Dangler: Increases movement speed by 2Q%.
  • Cave: +5Q% damage protection.
  • Spitter: Adds +5Q% chance on next hit to fire a spitter spider projectile with damage equal to 10 + 5Q% of the player's damage (including damage of the weapon in his hands with planar damage converted to normal) or [PERHAPS] default damage of the spitter.
  • Shatter: Gives a 5Q% chance to release spikes similar to Bramble Husk's spikes after being hit or taking damage.
  • Nurse: If health is below (100-5Q)%, every 10 seconds restores 2Q HP.
  • Strider: Increases Waterproof by 5Q%.

[BAG CAP: OTHER]

When worn normally without Switcherdoodles, durability is not consumed. If Switcherdoodles' bonuses are active (taking damage while Cave or Shatter is active, being healed by Nurse, being attacked by Shatter, Spitter, or Warrior, or simply running with Dangler), durability is consumed. Cap can be repaired with Spider Food. When the Bag Cap breaks, its levels and royal upgrades will not be lost and it can still be used as a backpack, but the slots for Switcherdoodles will be unlocked (the effects will no longer work, and Switcherdoodles can be removed from it, but you won't be able to activate them until you repair the cap). To restore it, you'll need to feed the cap Monster Lasagna.

The cap also works when worn by mobs. They gain switcherdoodle effects and additional slots. For example, Webber's spiders, with a leveled second spider branch skill, can carry not just one item, but 13 ([PERHAPS]: 12 stacks and 1 item).

Skill 3:
3.png.8f36f746cfedaf0aaa523f291875ca41.png

Unlocks the Spider Tool craft (Name is optional and conditional).

(Spider Tool concept art)

1325893273_.png.e88065b995189a640b0354bfae2c00d9.png

The tool will never break.

At the beginning it has one slot for silk or spider eggs, with their help the number of slots can be increased up to 10 times:

  • Web: +1 slot.
  • Level 1 spider eggs: +3 slots.
  • Level 2 spider eggs: +6 slots.
  • Level 3 spider eggs: +9 slots.

This way you can increase the tool capacity to 90 slots.

(Spider Tool Interface)
420410912_.png.399efd05e95924fd7f80bff2a9076198.png

You can transfer tamed spiders to the Spider Tool, increasing its damage. You can also use it to use your friends' abilities and ranged attacks, changing the battle mode by Alt-Right-clicking on a character while holding the tool. The principle is similar to the second step of using the Luxurious Whistle. The character takes a dangling whistle and blows into it.

[Melee Fight]: The weapon's damage is equal to the sum of the damage of all the spiders in it, but with one condition: after the strike, the spiders go on cooldown as if they were fighting as a swarm. If the damage of all spiders exceeds the enemy's health, not all spiders are stunned, but only those whose damage total was sufficient to kill the target. However, if any spiders remain unused, attack speed is not lost due to the cooldown. Only damage is lost, since attack damage depends on the damage of spiders not on cooldown.  [PERHAPS]: Warrior and Dangler's Leap Spiders will act as melee attacks with increased range. This means that if a target is too far for normal melee attacks but is within the range of the Leap Spiders, they will take damage equal to the combined damage, and the Spiders themselves will go on cooldown.

[Range Fight]: When ranged combat mode is selected and spiders with such attacks are used, the character begins firing the tool. After firing, the spider also goes on a cooldown based on its attack speed. The player shoots towards the cursor. [PERHAPS]: In this mode, warrior spiders and dangler spiders will be tied to a tool with a string and jump out of it one after another.

(Webber shoots a spider tool with spitters)

.thumb.gif.b6154b43236bd28007efafab8f30c383.gif

[Ability Fight]: It's similar to melee combat, with one exception: spiders with abilities don't deal damage, and a "Use Ability" option appears on the right-click. As expected, after pressing, the spiders with abilities will press them and go into cooldown. [PERHAPS]: 1) Add a link to the healing zone cursor. 2) When using abilities with cave spiders, the user receives 75% protection for as many seconds as they have cave spiders. 3) When pressed, the Shattered Spiders' spikes form a circle of spikes around the character, which do not deal damage.

(Webber uses Nurses' healing ability)

.thumb.gif.242998176da51737f94369e76ac70400.gif

[SPIDER TOOL: OTHER]

The tool can only hold spider webs with spider eggs (and only as many as remain until 10 upgrades are invested) and spiders. Spiders in the tool starve just like those in other storages. They also benefit from skill perks related to hunger and feeding spiders in the inventory. The spider tool's final damage depends solely on two factors: the enemy's defense and the damage of the spiders within the tool. This means that individual character damage modifiers (Wolfgang's increased damage, Wes's decreased damage, or buffs or debuffs from other items) will not apply. However, spider bonuses (Spiders fed with food laced with spices by Warley, Wolfgang's Whistle) will increase damage. Armor or increased damage taken by the target is also important. If the spider is on cooldown from any attack, it cannot use others. For example, after healing, the Nurse goes into a cooldown for 8 seconds, preventing it from participating in combat. Conversely, if the Nurse attacks, it cannot heal until the cooldown has passed.

[OTHER]

Resources invested in upgrading the Bag Cap and Spider Tool are dropped after destruction by the staff.

[SPIDER QUEEN]

Skill 1:

1.png.9fffdc326329a9193964a3206ba2c619.png

Allows you to evolve a Tier 3 den into a Spider Queen. To do this, give the den 5 pieces of Monster Meat/[PERHAPS]: 5 Monster Lasagna.

Skill 2:

2.png.93005f6955cb23af6bd5b8e7719d9ac2.png

Unlocks the ability to mutate the Spider Queen using Switcherdoodles. You must feed the Spider Queen several Switcherdoodles per day for several days [EXAMPLE: 5 Switcherdoodles per day for 3 days]. If done correctly, the Spider Queen will mutate and gain a new appearance, stats, and attacks

(The queens' health and damage stats are derived by dividing the normal queen's stats by the normal spider's stats (She has 4x the damage and 25x the health) and then applying them to the stats of existing spiders in the game). [PERHAPS]: New queens will only spawn spiders of their own species.

(Warrior Queen Concept Art)

2044130218_.png.566eb28845c06641ca97670011e74a8a.png

If the enemy is far away but within the Queen's range, she uses a new attack. She curls into a ball and rolls toward the target at a significantly increased speed compared to her normal movement speed, damaging anything in her path.

(Dangler Queen Concept Art)

398879534_.png.19818c9e5d405420c82af1d94fd2d5e7.png

If the enemy is far away but within the Queen's range, she uses a new attack. She curls into a ball and rolls toward the target at a significantly increased speed compared to her normal movement speed, damaging anything in her path.

(Cave Queen Concept Art)

1116921811_.png.c5385511dfaa29b251dcbb9e7df72364.png

Attacks like a normal Queen at close range. After several hits, she retreats into her giant shell. In this mode, the spider queen doesn't attack or move, but rapidly spawns spiders inside her shell (up to 5-7 alive at a time). On the next hit, or if the queen emerges from her shell, the summoned spiders will emerge from the queen's shell as if they were a den. While inside her shell, the queen also gains 75% damage protection.

(Spitter Queen Concept Art)

1556137192_.png.51754748b82a620471898d07ee2962d4.png

Extremely high attack speed. If an enemy is within range, shoots a web at them, dealing 80 damage and stunning them on impact (Similar to the Ewecus projectile).

(Shattered Queen Concept Art)

1936840489_.png.35bd16bf340e9df058518b8049f7833a.png

When the target is far enough away, it digs into the ground and summons 3 massive spikes beneath it, dealing 40 damage to flying and ground creatures. After a delay, the spikes explode, dealing 40 damage, and fire smaller spikes that deal 20 damage when they hit in 8 directions. These flying spikes can damage a single target (if it's large, for example) multiple times. If the spikes hit a target when summoned, they explode instantly.

(Nurse Queen Concept Art)

730328211_.png.d2a3ab2f2fd59838fc17ddf09f175cf5.png

Every 16 seconds, instead of attacking, it plops down on the ground, creating a massive healing zone in the form of a web for 8 seconds. The healing zone restores 150 health to spiders and 8 health to Webber every 2 seconds (heals 4 times).

(Strider Queen Concept Art)

615880631_.png.0bf824ae5e329d808e9af71e0106847f.png

Capable of moving both on water and on land.

Skill 3:

3.png.890507ac3e6382bfbcc8173f9c95c607.png

Unlocks the ability to tame spider queens and, by clicking the den decorating set on the saddle, create a spider saddle that can be placed on it. To tame a spider queen, you must feed it monster meat/lasagna and ride it for several days [EXAMPLE: 15 monster meat every day for 3 days with the condition of riding it].

During taming, the spider queen can be shaved with a razor to obtain webs, but she will aggro on the player if she is not tamed. Using a brush speeds up the taming of the queen. Whether tamed or not, the queen will grow webs, and if not removed with a razor or brush, she will turn into a den. If the player has cared for her, instead of turning into a den, she will drop an exoskeleton, which can be looted. It contains monster meat, a spider hat, and [PERHAPS]: with a low chance of spider eggs. You can also hide in the exoskeleton (similar to sleeping in a tent, except instead of hunger, you lose sanity, your health is not restored, and you can hide when under enemy threat, and it protects you from Charlie). (Thanks to @Dr.Webber  for inspiring this mechanic.)

Riding the Spider Queen is similar to riding a Beefalo in terms of mechanics. Her attack speed is the same as the player's, but her movement speed is standard for a Spider Queen (much slower than Beefalo's). Despite this, she has all her mechanics unlocked, and you can also ride queens bred with Switcherdoodle. Their new combat and movement mechanics are also retained while riding. Left-clicking on the queen will spawn a spider (there is a cooldown). Right-clicking on the Nurse Queen will release a healing zone (the cooldown is the same as that of a wild Nurse Queen). Right-clicking on the Cave Queen while riding her will cause her to retreat into her shell along with you. If the queen doesn't have a ranged attack, the player will use a ranged weapon.

[OTHER]

You can have multiple queen spiders in a swarm, and both versions of the Shoo Box and Webby Whistle work on them. Using the Luxury Webby Whistle, you can set her to melee mode, and even if she has ranged attacks, you can still fire at enemies with your own weapon while riding her.

The queen is permanently tamed, meaning you don't need to feed her.

[PERHAPS]: The Beefalo Bell, like the Saddle, can be turn into a Spider Bell using the Den Decorating Set, so that the Queen can have a name given by the player and follow them into the caves.

The Spider Queen can be equipped with a helmet or hats.

The Spider Queen benefits from perks from other skills. For example, with a second human skill, she will be tamed faster, and a second spider skill allows her to carry a stack of any item. You can have multiple queen spiders in a swarm, and both versions of the Shoo Box and Webby Whistle work on them. Using the Luxury Webby Whistle, you can set her to melee mode, and even if she has ranged attacks, you can still fire at enemies with your own weapon while riding her.

After the death or disappearance of a tamed queen, her spiders become tamed to the queen's owner.

[DECORATION]

Skill 1:

1.png.ecf32dff6837c75e1621a2fa4493d526.png

Den decorations are not removed by damage or aggro. Instead, they can be removed with a razor. [PERHAPS]: If you have a den decorating set in your inventory and remove them, the durability lost is refunded.

Unlocks the Den decoratig editor via the set. Here you can choose the color and placement of stickers, a flag (for which you can choose or draw a symbol in different colors), add, rearrange, combine, and color decorative elements from the following skills, if they are active, and much more.

Skill 2:

2.png.b132af766f6d4b3af728e05f4684512e.png

Unlocks the Advanced Den Decorating Set (level 2 decorations). Unlocks the Cozy and Hunting sets (Action Wheel when clicking on the Den while holding the set).  (Concept art of the new sets after skill 3). You can add a bonus set to Den.

(Simple Den Decorating Set general features)

They work exactly like decorations in the game, only the Spider Queen, which can be obtained from the third-level den with the first skill of the Spider Queen tree, will cost more and also spread the effect at a distance equal to the default decoration. (Patch 1.1): Spiders in the Spider Tool can gain effects if the Spider Tool is within the radius of a den with a decoration or in the inventory/hands/paws of a player standing within the radius of a den with a decoration, up to 3 effects per spider at a time. (If the third skill is not active, but the first and second decoration skills are active, the maximum effect is two; if only the first is active, the spider can only gain one effect.)

(Advanced Den Decorating Set general features)

Dens increase their health by 50%, burn longer, have a larger area of effect, and you need to use a hammer to remove the decoration instead of a razor. Level 1 decorations now use 10% instead of 20%. To create a queen, you need more meat compared to a den with first-level decorations (Simple) and even more so without decorations. The Queen spreads effects at the same range as advanced decorations.

Skill 3:

3.png.475ecbcbace30579b8b9737f0618ed74.png

Unlocks the Master Den Decorating Set (level 3 decorations). Unlocks the Worker and Combat sets (Action Wheel when clicking on the Den while holding the set). You can add a bonus set to Den.

(Master Den Decorating Set general features)

Dens increase their health by 100%, don't burn, and their area of effect is replaced by a target for spiders living in the den (To get the temporary bonus for Webber, you must sleep in the den). To remove a decoration, you must use a hammer instead of a razor. Tier 1 decorations consume 5% instead of 20%, and tier 2 decorations consume 10% instead of 20%. Creating a queen requires significantly more meat compared to a den with decorations of any level and especially without decorations. The Queen only transfers the effect to the spiders it spawns. (Patch 1.1): Spiders spawned from the den with master level decorations retain the master decoration effect while in the spider tool and can gain effects if the Spider Tool is within the radius of a den with a decoration or in the inventory/hands/paws of a player standing within the radius of a den with a decoration, up to 3 effects per spider at a time. (If the third skill is not active, but the first and second decoration skills are active, the maximum effect is two; if only the first is active, the spider can only gain one effect.)

(Den Decorating Sets Concept Art)

The tables will show the decoration levels vertically and the dens levels horizontally.

(Friendly Set Concept)

1865663612_.png.a12ca6f4b64e81d71bc767c10d39d440.png

(Simple level)

The same as the in-game decoration, if there is no influence from skill perks. The saturation period of spiders placed in the Spider Tool is increased by 10%.

(Advanced level)

  • Spiders: Do not affect the players' sanity.
  • Webber: Restores sanity near to den.
  • Other players: Unlock the ability to sleep in the den and are not slowed down on web turf [PERHAPS]: Restore a little sanity near the den.
  • Spider Queen: Does not affect the sanity of nearby Survivors [PERHAPS]: Slightly restores the sanity of nearby non-Webbers.
  • Spider Tool: The saturation period of spiders placed in the Spider Tool is increased by 15%. When used, restores 0.1 sanity per minute for each spider in the tool.

(Master level)

  • Spiders: Can be tamed by non-Webbers (Spiders are tamed for meat one by one, not in a group like with Webber).
  • Webber: Significantly restores sanity.
  • Other players: Significantly restores sanity near the den (as much as Webber) [PERHAPS]: they partially or fully receive the effects of other decorations. They move along the web turf at Webber's speed.
  • Spider Queen: Non-Webbers can drive and even ride the Spider Queen if she's tamed. (She can't be tamed by non-Webbers.) [PERHAPS]: Webber can tame multiple of her spiders at once.

  • Spider Tool: If a spider with this effect dies of hunger, it will drop an item from the sign. Each spider with this effect increases the chance of dropping an additional bonus item from the sign by 1%.

(Decorations Stacking)

With this skill, you can attach as many as three sets to a single den. Here's an idea of what this might look like: The first set is the look shown in the images, with the flag, center segment, and some stickers remaining. The second set involves choosing the door/right or left segment, and swapping the other third of the stickers. The third set involves swapping the remaining right/left segment and a third of the stickers.

The effects stack, excluding the den's health and fire resistance (selected based on the highest-level decoration). Furthermore, the price of the Spider Queen also stacks, increasing the price for each decoration depending on its level.

Skill 2:

2.1.png.1eac4bdeacdf44bfcd3ca14450cbd48a.png

Unlocks the ability to perform Shadow/Post Fuelweaver mutations using Nightmare Fuel/Pure Horror on Spider Queens.

[PERHAPS]: Adds a second small immortal shadow spider from the start, which will run after Webber for life and protect him from enemies.

Similar to the second Spider Queen perk mutations, they need to be given Nightmare Fuel/Pure Horror several times a day for several days. If a Spider Queen has already been mutated with Switcherdoodles, she will evolve into a Shadow/Post Fuelweaver of her species. The same will happen if you give a regular Spider Queen Switcherdoodles with Jam while having the aforementioned skill.

(SHADOW SPIDERS CONCEPT: Shadow Queens)

Have the same abilities and behavior as shadow spiders. They will either spawn regular shadow spiders, shadow spiders of their own species, or regular spiders of their own species.

Collapses a huge area of ground beneath an enemy, slowing those passing through the cracks and causing a massive, nightmarish fountain to erupt from them, piercing targets on the ground and in the air. Deals 6 hits (20 normal and 10 planar strikes per second) for 8 seconds. The cracks regenerate over time.

(Post Fuelweaver Nurse Queen)

1740083040_.png.a4297ef69595568b95951e0b25ce8a8a.png

Every 16 seconds, instead of attacking, it plops down on the ground, healing normal, moon, and post-champion spiders for 200, shadow spiders for 250, and post-fuelweaver spiders for 300, also heals regular Webber and Webber with Lunar Affinity by 15 and heals 3 more for each Shadow Affinity skill taken and creates a Nightmare Web core for 8 seconds. The core has 200 health and maintains a zone in which all spiders, including the queen, are completely immune to all damage and attacks. Webbers within the Nightmare Web zone gain immunity to stunlocks and knockbacks and 35% planar defense (+5% to planar defense for every active Shadow Affinity skill).

(Post Fuelweaver Strider Queen)

1136189287_.png.52767732da2c5f21c8d4fa3c22c882e8.png

She has two movement modes: normal and burrowed. While burrowed, she moves like a post-fuelweaver sea strider. If she moves normally for more than 5 seconds, she can use a special attack—teleporting to any point within the screen radius and damaging everyone on it.

Skill 3:

 3.png.1b731c8b5b0d76131e48a370d1ef93c7.png

Allows the creation of Shadow and Post Fuelweaver Dens. Crafting and upgrading also require Nightmare Fuel/Pure Horror. Dens have 375/750/1500 and 500/1000/2000 HP respectively, as well as planar and fire protection for both and protection from any others effects for the Post Fuelweaver Den.

[PERHAPS]: Adds a third small immortal shadow spider from the start, which will run after Webber for life and protect him from enemies.

If you have the Spider Queen skill tree, crafting and upgrade materials are also used to create it. [PERHAPS]: You can hold off on the Nightmare Fuel/Pure Horror, but instead of a Shadow/Post Fuelweaver Spider Queen, you'll get a regular one.

If you have the third skill of the weaving branch and shadow affinity spiders, you cannot wrap them in regular eggs, but you can wrap them in these eggs at any time.

[PERHAPS]: You cannot use Shadow Affinity Spiders in a Spider Tool upgraded with regular Spider Eggs. You will need Shadow Affinity Spider Eggs for that. Satiety in Shadow Dens slots lasts longer for regular spiders. Satiety in Post Fuelweaver slots lasts much longer for regular spiders and longer for Shadow Spiders.

Regular spiders will spawn in shadow/post fuelweaver dens, but at a significantly faster rate. Post fuelweaver spiders cannot be placed in shadow dens, but shadow spiders can be placed in post fuelweaver dens and will also have a smaller respawn speed bonus.

PERHAPS]: Decoration effects will be stronger for Webber and other survivors if they have leveled up their Shadow Affinity. The more elite the den and the more active skills, the stronger the bonus buff.

All moon spiders are immune to freezing/electricity (including stunning electric shock), when untamed they attack untamed shadow/post fuelweaver spiders and queens, have protection from lunar/shadow creatures, deal increased damage to shadow creatures, including shadow spiders/post fuelweaver spiders and queens, and their satiety period in the inventory is twice as long as that of normal ones.

Skill 2:

image.png.7488012ff2c530a800e6ab45840f1188.png

Unlocks the ability to perform Moon/Post Champion mutations using Moon Shard/Pure Brilliance on Spider Queens.

PERHAPS]: Adds a second small immortal gestalt spider from the start, which will run after Webber for life and protect him from enemies.

Similar to the second Spider Queen perk mutations, they need to be given Moon Shardl/Pure Brilliance several times a day for several days. If a Spider Queen has already been mutated with Switcherdoodles, she will evolve into a Moon/Post Champion of her species. The same will happen if you give a regular Spider Queen Switcherdoodles with Sprinkles while having the aforementioned skill.

(MOON SPIDERS CONCEPT: Moon Queens)

Have the same abilities and behavior as moon spiders. They will either spawn regular moon spiders, moon spiders of their own species, or regular spiders of their own species.

Every 16 seconds, instead of attacking, it plops down on the ground, creating a massive healing zone in the form of a web for 8 seconds. The healing zone heals normal, shadow, and post fuelweaver spiders for 175, moon spiders for 200, and post champion spiders for 225, regular Webber and Webber with Shadow Affinity by 10 and heals 2 more for each Lunar Affinity skill taken every 2 seconds  (heals 4 times). When healing, removes Freezing and applies a four-second immunity to Electrical damage and electrical stun to spiders, queens and Webbers. If healing zone removes Freezing from 5-8 spiders or protected 5-8 spiders from Electric shock, the next healing will Freeze or Shock the all enemies in the healing area.

Curls into a ball, turning the shards from her paws into two sawwheels. Rolls toward an enemy; if she runs over them, she buries them under a pile of shatterable moonglass. After stopping, she releases a massive amount of gestalt energy, lifting the piles of glass above the enemy and crashing them down, dealing full damage to them. She then raises her two sawwheels and directs them at the nearest two targets, then pulls them toward her and rises again.

In addition to the Post Champion Cave Spider's shield paw attack, For each spider spawned inside the shell, the chance of dropping a weapon and the damage dealt upon dropping it increases. To completely prevent such incidents, you should wear armor with at least 75% protection. The queen can also knock back larger creatures while in the shell, such as rolling warrior queens.

Raises the shards from his claws, along with the crystals above his head, and quickly lowers them, smashing a massive meteorite onto the enemy, dealing damage upon landing and triggering a blast wave/flash of light that deals damage over a large area. The meteorite then explodes, dealing further damage around it and triggering a second blast wave/flash of light.

(Post Champion Nurse Queen)

Every 16 seconds, instead of attacking, it plops down on the ground, healing normal, shadow, and post-fuelweaver spiders for 200, moon spiders for 250, and post-champion spiders for 300, also heals regular Webber and Webber with Shadow Affinity by 15 and heals 3 more for each Lunar Affinity skill taken and creates a web of Brilliance Silk for 8 seconds. Everyone, including Webber, but with the exception of Post Champion Nurse Queen, doesn't drop items upon death, refuses to die, rises with 15% health (Webber with 25-45% (+10% for every active Lunar Affinity skill), queens with 5%), and continues fighting.

(Post Champion Strider Queen)

1575936924_.png.fbc9fb42f4619469f76287ea36adfb8e.png

Has two types of movement: normal and flying. While flying, it increases speed and deals 60 planar damage with a trail of gestalt energy. If she moves normally for more than 5 seconds, she can use a special attack— She soars into the air, pulling objects, players, waves of water, and gestalt energy toward herself, dealing planar damage around her. Near the end of the pull, she covers her body with the shards of her paws and suddenly unfurls them into enormous glass wings, emitting a wealth of light and repelling everything she pulled in, as well as the sea waves.

Skill 3:

3.png.38158e4723a6d83bd3ee7243c4db1de2.png

Allows the creation of Moon and Post Champion Dens. Crafting and upgrading also require Moon Shard/Pure Brilliance. Dens have 375/750/1500 and 500/1000/2000 HP respectively, as well as planar and freeze protection for both and protection from any others effects for the Post Champion Den.

[PERHAPS]: Adds a third small immortal gestalt spider from the start, which will run after Webber for life and protect him from enemies.

If you have the Spider Queen skill tree, crafting and upgrade materials are also used to create it. [PERHAPS]: You can hold off on the Moon Shard/Pure Brilliance, but instead of a Mooon/Post Champion Spider Queen, you'll get a regular one.

If you have the third skill of the weaving branch and lunar affinity spiders, you cannot wrap them in regular eggs, but you can wrap them in these eggs at any time.

[PERHAPS]: You cannot use Lunar Affinity Spiders in a Spider Tool upgraded with regular Spider Eggs. You will need Lunar Affinity Spider Eggs for that. Satiety in Moon Dens slots lasts longer for regular spiders. Satiety in Post Champion slots lasts much longer for regular spiders and longer for Moon Spiders.

Regular spiders will spawn in moon/post champion dens, but at a significantly faster rate. Post champion spiders cannot be placed in moon dens, but moon spiders can be placed in post champion dens and will also have a smaller respawn speed bonus.

[PERHAPS]: Decoration effects will be stronger for Webber and other survivors if they have leveled up their Lunar Affinity. The more elite the den and the more active skills, the stronger the bonus buff.

(Bag Cap synergies with Affinity)

Of course, the new Switcherdoodles will have Bag Cap effects. At the same time, new Cap upgrades are also being added.

(Bag Cap Affinity Upgrade Scheme)

.thumb.png.fd6ad6d64fab2ad0402ae5841cca5a3e.png

So, with affinity we get 4 new upgrades, two for each branch.

Moon Upgrade: Place 9 Moon Shards in the Bag Cap: Doubles the effects of Switcherdoodles with Moon Shard Sprinkles, Increases durability by 25% of the original and restores 1.5 sanity per minute (Compatible with the Royal Upgrade and the Post Champion Upgrade, but displaces the Shadow Upgrade and the Post Fuelweaver Upgrade).

Post Champion Upgrade: Place 9 Pure Brilliance in the Bag Cap: Doubles the effects of Switcherdoodles with Pure Brilliance Sprinkles, Increases durability by 50% of the original and restores 3.5 sanity per minute (Compatible with the Royal Upgrade and the Moon Upgrade Upgrade, but displaces the Shadow Upgrade and the Post Fuelweaver Upgrade).

Shadow Upgrade: Place 9 Nightmare Fuel in the Bag Cap: Doubles the effects of Switcherdoodles with Nightmare Fuel Jam, Increases durability by 25% of the original and reduce 5 sanity per minute (Compatible with the Royal Upgrade and the Post Fuelweaver Upgrade, but displaces the Moon and the Post Champion Upgrade).

Post Fuelweaver Upgrade: Place 9 Pure Horror in the Bag Cap: Doubles the effects of Switcherdoodles with Pure Horror Jam, Increases durability by 50% of the original and reduce 7,5 sanity per minute (Compatible with the Royal Upgrade and the Shadow Upgrade, but displaces the Moon Upgrade and the Post Champion Upgrade).

(Switcherdoodles with Moon Shard Sprinkles Bonuses)

  • Warrior: +2Q damage to shadow mobs/players.
  • Dangler: Reduces durability loss from damage from shadow mobs/players by 3Q%.
  • Cave: Reduces shadow damage by 2Q% (Defense Calculation: (Shadow Damage-Armor and Normal Cave Spider Defense)-Lunar Cave Spider Damage).
  • Spitter: Gives Q% overall projectile chance and 5Q% moon spitter projectile chance (Damage will increase by 2Q% against shadow mobs/players).
  • Shatter: Defaul Shatter Switcherdoodle effect + Thorns damage to shadow mobs/players is increased by 2Q%.
  • Nurse: Heals lunar creatures and players with lunar affinity for Q hp every 5 seconds.
  • Strider: When attacking, removes Q units of moisture and transfers it to the enemy, doubles the effect if the enemy is on the shadow side.

(Switcherdoodles with Nightmare Fuel Jam Bonuses)

  • Warrior: +2Q damage to lunar mobs/players.
  • Dangler: Reduces durability loss from damage from lunar mobs/players by 3Q%.
  • Cave: Reduces lunar damage by 2Q% (Defense Calculation: (Lunar Damage-Armor and Normal Cave Spider Defense)-Shadow Cave Spider Damage).
  • Spitter: Gives Q% overall projectile chance and 5Q% shadow spitter projectile chance (Damage will increase by 2Q% against lunar mobs/players).
  • Shatter: Defaul Shatter Switcherdoodle effect + Thorns damage to lunar mobs/players is increased by 2Q%.
  • Nurse: Heals shadow creatures and players with shadow affinity for Q every 5 seconds.
  • Strider: When attacking, removes Q units of moisture and transfers it to the enemy, doubles the effect if the enemy is on the lunar side.

(Switcherdoodles with Pure Brilliance Sprinkles Bonuses)

  • Warrior: Adds Q planar damage to all targets and 2Q planar damage to shadow targets.
  • Dangler: Increases walking speed by Q% for creatures and players on the moon's side and for everyone in the evening, and by 2Q% during the day or on the moon's territory, increasing by 3Q% on a full moon. If Sanity is higher (100-5Q%), it provides illumination.
  • Cave: Reduces sanity loss by 2Q%.
  • Spitter: Gives a 5Q% chance to replace the projectile with the Post Champion Spitter's projectile.
  • Shatter: In addition to the spikes, there is a 5Q% chance that a small meteorite will fly at the enemy, dealing Q damage and Q planar damage.
  • Nurse: In addition to health, if sanity is below (100-5Q)%, it restores Q sanity every 10 seconds.
  • Strider: Deals a bonus 1/2Q electrical damage to the target and stuns the target for Q-8 seconds.

(Switcherdoodles with Pure Horror Jam Bonuses)

  • Warrior: Adds Q planar damage to all targets and 2Q planar damage to lunar targets.
  • Dangler: Increases walking speed by Q% for Shadowside creatures and players and for everyone in the evening, and by 2Q% at night or in caves, increasing by 3Q% during the new moon. If your sanity is lower (5Q%), it provides illumination.
  • Cave: The received Q units of planar damage instead of damage to health, deal damage to sanity.
  • Spitter: Gives a 5Q% chance to replace a projectile with a Post Fuelweaver Spitter's projectile.
  • Shatter: In addition to spikes, there's a 5Q% chance to collapse the ground beneath the target's feet, dealing Q damage and knocking them back. The collapse's trail lasts for 5 seconds and slows units walking on it.
  • Nurse: In addition to normal healing, every 10 seconds converts Q sanity into Q health, while health is less than (100-5Q)%.
  • Strider: Deals bonus Q damage to the target, removes Q sanity, and inflicts fear on the target for Q-5 seconds.

(Formula explanation)

First, an affinity branch is chosen 50/50 and a projectile is selected from it. The branch is checked first, starting with the post planar modifier. If its Q% doesn't trigger, the regular planar modifier is checked. If the Q% still doesn't trigger, the second branch is checked in the same way. Upon another hit, the regular projectile is either fired or not fired. (Other modifiers with a chance to trigger work concurrently.)

[SWITCHERDOODLE]

Skill 1:

1.png.8776ce14f1b0ba05fd6637ec22ea0f48.png

Instead of one Switcherdoodle, two are crafted.

Skill 2:

2.png.adcbbf46533785cca3bd97cd53d2d988.png

Instead of two Switcherdoodles, three are crafted, and with a 50% chance - four.

Skill 3 (Requires Lunar or Shadow Affinity):

3.png.dd32705474e29910ef694456d8ceaea2.png

Unlocks the Grinder craft.

(Grinder Concept)

1503098262_.png.8f8bf877fcb8eebfa8f8a8209cb24d84.png

You can put 1 Moon Shard/Pure Brilliance/Pure Horror/Nightmare Fuel into the grinder, filling it to 100%. The grinder can then be used on Switcherdoodles, costing 20% per piece. [PERHAPS]: can also be used on Spiders and Queens for mutations.

[SHAVING]

Skill 1:

1.png.57d122ac302067b1b0f926e40d3fa6e9.png

Speeds up any shaving (shaving the beard, den, spider queen, etc.) by 25%. Adds a bonus to beard growth speed based on your satiety level. The more satiety you have, the faster your beard grows.

Skill 2:

2.png.c550a81668d6f9f86c8118989ff51216.png

Webber gains sanity every time he shaves, and shaving his beard increases his sanity. He also gains more web from shaving.

Skill 3: (Requires Lunar or Shadow Affinity):

3.png.28a8afb6e1045d427971f7b81427fa40.png

In addition to cobwebs, there's a chance to drop materials from dens, spider queens, and beards with the player's affinity level when shaving. With the first affinity skill, the chance is small, and the material drop rate is low: [For example: a beard will drop up to 1/2/3 Nightmare Fuel/Moon Shard]. With the second affinity skill, the chance also increases, as does the maximum amount of resources dropped: [For example: a beard will drop up to 1/3/5 Nightmare Fuel/Moon Shard]. With the third skill, there's a small chance when shaving a post-champion/post-fuelweaver den, spider queen, or beard that the dropped Moon Shard/Nightmare Fuel will be replaced with Pure Brilliance/Pure Horror.

I think I've done all the work. If you've read this far, I'm very grateful for your interest. Have a nice day, everyone! See you there!

i love webber but this is so bad literally useless skills ngl, maybe ur new to dst thats why , cz they dont make any sense or change anything, maybe the 2 hand slots is good buts its gonna be broken , otherwise 0/10 skilltree

this is my webber skilltree ideas that i would love to have .

i did post some in the forums but i wanna add more , i want to use these as my bingo card for when skilltrees gets added to see if i hit some of them etc , its fun n im gonna add ideas for all other characters later :

So my SkillTree Ideas :

1- able to craft Weapon+Armor using silk, monster meat , gold? to be able to finally use the useless gimmick of giving spiders hats , no one uses this feature so this would make it so much better, also the wep could be a whip since its made of silk and monster meat, since all whips r useless smh other than the alarming ,, and their gimmick is having the slowing effects of the webs , attacking mobs slowing them down for few secs , getting attacked while wearing the armor puts a web on ground for few secs slowing all mobs nearby , the armor makes other players gain speed on webs n not be affected by its slow while wearing it plus all spiders become natural to them. the armor has a cooldown on web spawning , and it loses more % when it does spawn , making it risky n not viable to spam in every fight. plus these abilities r able to be added to any other weapon and gear later so it dosnt feel useless compared to anyth else or if u prefer to use specific gear , or maybe making late game gear able to be enchanted by adding these web effects to them js like wormwood with brightshade gear etc.

2- Since hes a *monster* this is the most interesting thing for me , so i have so many ideas here js for seeing this sentence alone :

- THE WX TREATMENT, WEBBER NOW SEES IN DARKNESS, NO NEED FOR LIGHT SOURCE, since hes literally a spider , and spiders hangout n chill in darkness why shouldn't he be as well? , or if thats too broken then listen , how abt making Spiderhat actually useful for webber ? , now when webber kills a spiderqueen ( u have to land the final hit , ) he unlocks a new item which used to enchant the spiderhat making it have his armor abilities ( the web spawn on hit and slow ) plus have 2 versions of these spiderhats too lol :

> now its repairable idk how , but it allows u to see in darkness while wearing it , plus makes other spiderqueens follow u , n u give them orders , now ur the king, plus it acts as an armor

> or the spiderhat makes u transform into somth idk , its not repairable anymore but as long as ur wearing it , u see in darkness plus gives u stat boost , now u can deal dmg without using weapons just like any monster , if i remember correctly the hat lasts for 2 mins so having this transform for 2 mins is fine ig.

3- Being able to eat the switches to transform himself into any of the other spider forms for few mins . if he transforms into nurse now he heals both spiders and other players and friendly mobs etc , since hes half spider half kid .

4- a buff to switches, now it works on spider nests , so u can have any type of spider spawners anywhere u want , also each switch now transform more than 1 spider instead , so its less grindy and expensive, tbh this one is difficult cz ehat if i dont want my nurse to transform to a warrior? idk maybe this only works on normal spiders ? plus now u could mix them up , giving a *natural* warrior/nurse/spitter etc a switch thats different from his type , it makes him own both abilities, for ex giving a spitter the *nurse switch* makes him a spitter/nurse at same time , only works on unique spiders , plus giving switches give the spiders a stat boost , now using the warrior switch is finally worth it since they gonna have even more HP n dmg than a normal warrior

5- few changes to the whistles is what i didnt rlly like , i didnt like how the spiders with webber arent aggressive towards hounds and pigs etc , most of the time i base in middle of 8-9 spider nests , i get attacked by hounds the spiders r chilling they only attack when getting attacked , even the befriended spiders r useless they js sit n watch until i get attacked or attack a hound , there must be a way to use these whistles to force other spiders ( befriended or not ) to go into specific modes also when their mode is changed they dont eat food on ground anymore and focus on their new role :

 - for example u can force them to be aggressive js like Abigail, making them immune to all types of fear ( BQ Screeching , klaus etc ) plus now they attack everything on sight without u ordering them to attack anyth specific, very useful as a defense against pigs , hounds anyth to protect webber.

- force them to be passive , now they wont attack anyth even players , unless they get hit by that creature, ( unlike the thing he puts on Spidereggs Its trash , this one wont break the passivity even when attacked they only defend themselves and bk to pssive mode again ).

6- the annoying part of webber n makes me think hes a normal character not even a monster is that WHY HE STILL MAKES MEATBALLS AND DISHES LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING ?, i would add 2 sides , js like wortox with naughty and cute , now webber chooses, dark side becomes more spider , the other more human etc , anyway :

- the spider makes him gain even more stats from eating non crockpot dishes like raw monster mean , pig skin , raw meat any kind , they now give him much much more hunger maybe 30-40 each 10-15HP and sanity , plus the only dish that still benefits him is the monster lasagna, theres noway this dish is useless even for webber ? , it should give him way more stats maybe 60+ hunger 30HP or somth ( ofc being higher than eating the raw monster meat and pig skin etc, i didnt make the math here js giving ideas )

- if u choose to become more human , now ur js the basic webber we have rn , why would u ? , now u get harrased by spiders as well 😂😂 jk , the more human makes u friendly to both spiders and pigs etc , and unable to eat pig skin since ur not a fully monsterey anymore.

7- Now he rides SpiderQueens ( not sexually ), js like beefalos, they gain bonus speed when being rided by webber , faster than a normal player with cane , but slower than beefalos, but they have more HP/DMG , and their spider spawning abilities, this is complicated, so idk if riding makes other spiders natural to players , or forcing webber to upgrade the Spiderhat first to be able to ride spiderqueens , also the new spiderhat makes all nearby spiders natural to players .

8- being able to craft the web turf now , which makes webber faster and slows all non spider characters/mobs , maybe making them count towards the spider nests range as well ? like if anyth steps on that turf all other spiders nearby or in their nests leave js like when u step on their own webby thing , idk if this is good or bad.

9- the shadow/lunar side , adds even more to the spiderhat and the spidernests , gains an ability to upgrade it with endgame stuff , nests and all types transform n become more tanky and able to tank bosses like bearger etc n regen hp, immune to fire , the spiderhat u could combine either the crowns from cc or bone helm or bone armor depending on which side u choose , so now u gonna have the bone armor or helm ability on the new spiderhat or the crown if lunar is chosen, maybe it gets some more effects as well to make it even better as an endgame gear for webber.

{ ig thats all i might edit n add some if i got anymore ideas , this is gonna be fun to go bk to when they finally add the skilltrees to these characters n se

e if i could predict any of them }

Overall, you've partially predicted what I want to talk about. Including the improved endgame dens materials, the appearance of which I'm drawing. In the next few days, when I'm done, I want to open a skill branch related to dens weaving.

[UPDATE 2] Have a nice day everyone! I've finished another drawing with 26 dens sprites. So this time, I'll share my thoughts on the dens weaving branch.

Skill 1:

1.png.6116e3ebb27a77bdabaae3473c791622.png

Reduces the amount of resources required to create and upgrade dens.

Skill 2:

2.png.5dcc4b89ef576af507c58b9b8dbbcd86.png

Allows you to upgrade dens to level 2 and 3 in your inventory in advance.

(Upgraded dens sprite concept)

Skill 3:

3.png.58ba2fae64db039c7b4e6d407b55c2e9.png

[POSSIBLE QUESTION]

Q: Spider wrapping will devalue switcherdoodles. What use will it be with this skill?

A: Switcherdoodles will gain a new function in the skill tree, but they will also be needed to create new spiders, not all of which can be placed in the Den. Some skills will also indirectly simplify switcherdoodle crafting, which, I believe, will address one of its problems: the unreasonable cost of crafting.

I have to admit, I'm really enjoying creating the skill tree for Webber, I'm passionate about the idea, and sometimes I get burned out and tilted, but I keep making it, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I'll be forced to slow down the pace of creation a little. But even during the time that is not spent on drawing sketches, I will think about already finished or unfinished mechanics and details. I'm not forcing or imposing my tree, but I'd be truly happy if Klei took my skill ideas. If you, the developers, are reading this, I just want to say three words: take it all. Take it all, I'm not greedy. On this personal note, I'd like to conclude my second post about Webber's skill tree. I wish everyone good luck in their favorite game and a Webber tree that will go down in history as legendary.

Hey everyone! I was planning on posting the concept content yesterday, but I was a bit late and finished another 16 sprites late last night. Plus, there's an update today, so let's get to it. Today I'll be talking about the Toys/Craft branch.

Skill 1:

1.png.8a9d57d25ebd4b715ad7bae752611932.png

Unlocks luxury Webby Whistle and luxury Shoo Box crafts.

[Luxury Webby Whistle]

Has increased durability and range than the standard version ([PERHAPS]: the tool will never break).

Right-clicking opens the action wheel for advanced spider control.

[Whistle Interface]

[Whistle Step Diagram and Explanation]

1097785162_.png.d0710888b1ecb00506044ba67d8ebf28.png

[Luxury Shoo Box]

Has increased durability and range than the standard version ([PERHAPS]: the tool will never break).

Right-clicking opens the action wheel for advanced spider control.

[Shoo Box Step Diagram and Explanation]

969800746_.png.e5421893cd0c315071e955c49a0449f6.png

Step 1: You choose the spiders you want to use. (Clicking the "All" option applies the following steps to all tamed spiders).

Step 2: The player selects a command for a specific type of stop following him.

  • Stay at one point: The player can use the cursor to select a place where the spiders will stand and will not run away or follow him. (Spiders remain tame)

  • Finish hire: standard shoo box effect (If the selected spiders were previously given the command to stay in place, then they will stand/lie in the same place untamed)

Skill 2:

2.png.0c0ed8dbdfaa8fd5f064e7cd43ef8802.png

Unlocks the Spider Bag Cap craft.

[Default Bag Cap on Webber head/without Webber head]

529818677_.png.9c2f7e5df3b038140ddde775da9dd6cb.png

At first, it has no effects other than adding 5 storage slots when worn, and does not consume durability. Also holds up to 50 Switcherdoodles in one slot. Can be upgraded in two ways.

[Bag Cap upgrading: Level Increasing]

You can place a web in each slot, and by pressing a button you can add additional slots (up to two upgrades). You can also upgrade to a level 3 cap with a Royal Upgrade.

  • Level 1: 5 slots (Does not require webs).
  • Level 2: 7 slots (Fill all 5 Cap slots at level 1 with at least one web).
  • Lecel 3: 9 slots (Fill all 7 Cap slots at level 2 with at least one web).
  • Royal Upgrade: 9 slots, increased durability by 50%, doubled the effect of the next second type of upgrade, new interface and design (put in the level 3 cap 4 webs, 4 spider glands, the head of the spider queen as shown in the following picture [PERHAPS]: in any order).

[Level Increasing scheme]

[Royal Bag Cap on Webber head/without Webber head]

1366268762_.png.ad4f920cf24ccff0022c08da6f6c70f6.png

[Bag Cap upgrading: Switchedoodles Synergy]

You can place 1 switcherdoodle in a Cap of any level and by pressing the button, the slot with the switcherdoodle will be locked and the cap will acquire a new effect depending on its type. As I previously wrote, a royal-level cap doubles the effects.

[Bag Cap: Others]

For example, Webber's spiders, with a leveled second spider branch skill, can carry not just one item, but 10 ([PERHAPS]: 9 stacks and 1 item).

Skill 3:

3.png.4d3f162b8ec8d89f06fc41da94f3029e.png

Unlocks the spider tool craft (Name is optional and conditional).

[Spider tool concept art]:

1648299724_.png.8197b76e64cc8b06df2031c03a7a5c6e.png

The tool will never break.

At the beginning it has one slot for web or spider eggs, with their help the number of slots can be increased (10 times):

  • Web: +1 slot.
  • Level 1 spider eggs: +3 slots.
  • Level 2 spider eggs: +6 slots.
  • Level 3 spider eggs: +9 slots.

This way you can increase the tool capacity to 90 slots.

[Spider Tool Interface]

941659048_.png.e524e1c6976e80ceee77c5a65f5eec2d.png

[PERHAPS] Warrior and Dangler's Leap Spiders will act as melee attacks with increased range.

[PERHAPS] In this mode, warrior spiders and dangler spiders will be tied to a tool with a string and jump out of it one after another.

[Webber shoots a spider tool with spitters]

.thumb.gif.23f458bdae2f035add2b60f1c1ad1cd2.gif

[Ability Fight]: It's similar to melee combat, with one exception: spiders with abilities don't deal damage, and a "Use Ability" option appears on the right-click. As expected, after pressing, the spiders with abilities will press them and go into cooldown. [PERHAPS] 1) Add a link to the healing zone cursor. 2) When using abilities with cave spiders, the user receives 75% protection for as many seconds as they have cave spiders. 3) When pressed, the Shattered Spiders' spikes form a circle of spikes around the character, which do not deal damage.

[Webber uses Nurses' healing ability]

.thumb.gif.cf824b53052e99731fef1175410a25b9.gif

[Spider Tool: OTHERS]

[OTHERS]

Resources invested in upgrading the Bag Cap and Spider Tool are dropped after destruction by the staff.

This was a long one. It seems like there's only one branch, but I haven't even covered everything it will have in the final skill tree. If you've made it this far, I'm glad you're interested in this concept. I only have four main branches and two additional branches left to explore. The sprites for two of them are completely ready, and for the third one they are almost ready. I would like to show them together with animations, like today, but due to the circumstances I wrote about in the last post, and the fact that if I do them, then my concept will come out when all the characters have trees and they are reworked twice, I am forced to describe them in words in the future. The most interesting thing is, I only know the branch I'll show next time. Everything after that depends on whether I finish the remaining main branches. Time will tell. The Webber tree is one update closer. And finally, I'll say one thing: the new Webber skin is a masterpiece down to the last detail. From the bottom of my heart, Klei, I don’t regret spending 1995 spools on his skin. 20260213175338_1.jpg.745bde4cb0140a768a715c040103d2a1.jpg

Have a nice day everyone and enjoy the update!

20260213175314_1.jpg.1b72097ae21e2920186715dda49db7f8.jpg

Let's interpret it as Webber not evil and killing the queen, but rather, as a memento of her, he placed her head in Cap and wears it, receiving bonuses. And the next skills will be about the spider queen and interacting with her. The only use I've found for spider hat is as a replacement for the Shoo Box, because if you wear it, even spiders tamed with meat become untamed. Let's assume that Webber isn't evil and killed the queen, but rather, as a memento of her, he put her head in Cap and wears it, receiving bonuses. And the next skills will be about the spider queen and interacting with her.

[TRANSLATOR WARNING] I am not from an English-speaking country, so I will be writing the text using Google Translate with corrections to the names of game items, etc.

[PAINT WARNING] The concept was drawn in Paint, but I tried to convey in more detail the ideas in the concept art that couldn't be described in words.

[IN PROGRESS WARNING] I started sketching it back in November, but I realized I wouldn't be able to finish it quickly. Many of the skills were already drawn and written. So I'll be posting part of the concept on the forum and, while I finish the rest, submitting the finished materials.

I'll start with the skill tree image itself.

image.png.01a9c799d2c94f2331107fcdb6a6b4b0.png

The names of each branch:

  • top: Lunar affinity
  • Bottom: Shadow affinity
  • Left: Human
  • Right: Spider
  • Top left: Toys/Craft
  • Bottom left: Decoration
  • Bottom right: Spider queen
  • Top right: Dens weaving

I also want to add two branches (switcherdoodle and beard/something razor related) with three skills each, but I can't find the optimal placement for them yet. Today I will tell about human skills and spider skills.

[HUMAN]

1 Skill:

 1.png.3f00ec8277df567d742232a86853184e.png

Reduces enemy aggro time and radius, increases taming time. Tames bonus companion (except Beefalo and spiders). {PERHAPS: +25 maximum sanity}

Skill 2:

2.png.11ea4fe80eed979609e671d1e8f8c84b.png

Webber does not scare away friendly creatures (such as rabbits and butterflies) unless he hits/traps/nets them. {PERHAPS: +25 to Max Sanity}

Skill 3:

3.png.d2b8ad00447301152428a39b0493507e.png

Mobs attacking Webber (such as pigmans and catcoons) will not attack Webber until he attacks them. After that, the creature will attack him every time they encounter until it dies. The aggro spreads to nearby units that initially attack Webber. {PERHAPS: +25 to Max Sanity}

[SPIDER]

Skill 1:

1.png.0088f3481f71885b6d0ead58abc0b740.png

Increases the maximum number of tamable spiders to (6-10) and the number of spiders that can be fed in the inventory to (3-6) for one meat. {PERHAPS: +25 to Max Hunger}

Skill 2:

2.png.1767532b1c0727b93ca6051902a329fe.png

Instead of eating items from the floor, spiders will pick it up and bring it to Webber when they hear a whistle (tamed ones can bring any items that Webber picks up) (a spider only stores one item), their satiety will increase from 5 days in inventory to (7.5-15 days). {PERHAPS: +25 to Max Hunger}

Skill 3:

3.png.bb3cc5e6f5feb1b7651dc60693c93f62.png

Unlocks two additional hand slots for Webber, which he can equip with tools/weapons to increase his mining efficiency or damage. (He will hold items in the paws on his head.) If his armor, helmet, and hands slots are empty, he will inflict fear on nearby creatures and reduce the sanity of enemy players around him (in PVP). {PERHAPS: +25 to Max Hunger}

[OTHER]

The aforementioned human or spider skills affect Webber's voice and/or lines.

For example, upgrading the spider branch will make his speech rougher and produce sounds similar to a spider's hiss.

Upgrading the human branch will incorporate notes from a more human instrument (such as a piano) into his voice.

When leveling up both sides simultaneously, the voice/lines from the branch with the most skills are selected.

That's all I'll say about the skill tree for now. I'll post a comment/edit soon to add more details about the concept. Thanks in advance to everyone who read this post and found it interesting. Have a nice day, everyone.

i like the extra handslot thing even just for like holding a torch/lantern to gather resources in the dark

also like the idea of the skills giving him different stat boosts, one of the ideas i had was a backpack that could hold spiders without them starving

u alrdy able to do that by giving them miner hat , u can give them hats alrdy

i would love in webber skilltree making any hat have more durability or last longer so this makes a spider with armor or minerhat stays longer on its head so ur not wasting too kuch resources at least

You could add a skill that pass or drop it every time she turns back into a tier one den with Weber near so like when real life spiders  shed their exoskeleton

I'm a bit confused. Neither the machine translation nor my own were able to clearly convey your meaning, but as I understand it, you're proposing a skill that will prevent you from turning into a den near Webber. It's a cool idea, I thought about it a bit and made it so that in one of the skills you can shave (or comb like a beefalo) the queen to get webs/other resources and reverse her transformation, and maybe even the entire "fouling" cycle. P.S. New post in a couple of days; I'm almost done with one of the remaining four sprites for the third branch.

What I meant was when she turns into a den, she’ll drop the spider hat similar to how real life spiders shed their exoskeleton

Now I get it. In that case, I wouldn't have made it a separate skill for Webber, but rather as part of one of his skills or as a general phenomenon, like the Queen spawning nurses herself after Webber's rework.

Hello again everyone! I finished those sprites I was talking about. Today, I'll be talking about the Spider Queen branch.

Skill 1:

1.png.efaaabdf6163490900f3cf22bff07e05.png

Allows you to evolve a Tier 3 den into a Spider Queen. To do this, give the den 5 pieces of Monster Meat or [PERHAPS] 5 Monster Lasagna.

Skill 2:

2.png.6b7b803d59d74af76b3b0ccf6c71acb3.png

Unlocks the ability to mutate the Spider Queen using Switcherdoodles. You must feed the Spider Queen several Switcherdoodles per day for several days [EXAMPLE: 5 Switcherdoodles per day for 3 days]. If done correctly, the Spider Queen will mutate and gain a new appearance, stats, and attacks (The queens' health and damage stats are derived by dividing the normal queen's stats by the normal spider's stats (She has 4x the damage and 25x the health) and then applying them to the stats of existing spiders in the game). [PERHAPS] New queens will only spawn spiders of their own species.

HP:10000

DMG:80

If the enemy is far away but within the Queen's range, she uses a new attack. She curls into a ball and rolls toward the target at a significantly increased speed compared to her normal movement speed, damaging anything in her path.

HP:5625

DMG:80

Attacks like a normal Queen at close range. After several hits, she retreats into her giant shell. In this mode, the spider queen doesn't attack or move, but rapidly spawns spiders inside her shell (up to 5-7 alive at a time). On the next hit, or if the queen emerges from her shell, the summoned spiders will emerge from the queen's shell as if they were a den. While inside her shell, the queen also gains 75% damage protection.

HP:6250

DMG:100

When the target is far enough away, it digs into the ground and summons 3 massive spikes beneath it, dealing 40 damage to flying and ground creatures. After a delay, the spikes explode, dealing 40 damage, and fire smaller spikes that deal 20 damage when they hit in 8 directions. These flying spikes can damage a single target (if it's large, for example) multiple times. If the spikes hit a target when summoned, they explode instantly.

HP:10000

DMG:40

Every 16 seconds, instead of attacking, it plops down on the ground, creating a massive healing zone in the form of a web for 8 seconds. The healing zone restores 150 health to spiders and 8 health to Webber every 2 seconds (heals 4 times).

Skill 3:

3.png.be7c06ebcbc027a15b7c9fa215d1fba2.png

It contains monster meat, a spider hat, and [PERHAPS] with a low chance of spider eggs. You can also hide in the exoskeleton (similar to sleeping in a tent, except instead of hunger, you lose sanity, your health is not restored, and you can hide when under enemy threat, and it protects you from Charlie). (Thanks to Dr.Webber (https://forums.kleientertainment.com/profile/1428098-drwebber/) for inspiring this mechanic.)

[OTHER]

  • The Spider Queen can be awakened from her decorated den. This requires more food, but the Queen and her spiders will be neutral to other players who don't attack them or are not attacked by Webber while riding her.
  • The queen is permanently tamed, meaning you don't need to feed her.

  • You can have multiple queen spiders in a swarm, and both versions of the Shoo Box and Webby Whistle work on them. Using the Luxury Webby Whistle, you can set her to melee mode, and even if she has ranged attacks, you can still fire at enemies with your own weapon while riding her.

  • After the death or disappearance of a tamed queen, her spiders become tamed to the queen's owner.

  • [PERHAPS] The Beefalo Bell, like the Saddle, can be turn into a Spider Bell using the Den Decorating Set, so that the Queen can have a name given by the player and follow them into the caves.

  • The Spider Queen can be equipped with a helmet or hats.

  • The Spider Queen benefits from perks from other skills. For example, with a second human skill, she will be tamed faster, and a second spider skill allows her to carry a stack of any item.

Overall, that's about all I can remember and can share about the Spider Queen tree, including the skills already revealed. I only have sprites left to draw: sprites for two branches that haven't (at least not yet) been applied to the tree interface, and sprites for one main tree. It's this main tree I want to talk about. Most likely, in the next post, I'll talk specifically about the skill tree branches that unfortunately weren't included in the drawing. But if I have time, I'll cover the main branch, and the bonus ones will be an afterword. I'm pleasantly surprised by the community's feedback here. I still don't know if Klei is reading this, but I hope our ideas are similar and that the skills for Webber will be powerful. With that, I bid you farewell for today, but not forever.

I forgot, lol, thanks for the note. By the way, the last main branch will either be released soon in half, or I'll stay and finish drawing the remaining sprites for it.

P.S. How do you like the concept so far?

Hello everyone. I want to thank you for the thousand visits and apologize for my long absence. After two weeks, I'm back with a fully drawn concept for the Decoration branch.

[Skill 1]

1.png.1e596705c1c5a711599a14a41b43fac6.png

Den decorations are not removed by damage or aggro. Instead, they can be removed with a razor. [PERHAPS] If you have a den decorating set in your inventory and remove them, the durability lost is refunded.

Unlocks the Den decoratig editor via the set. Here, you can choose the color of stickers, a flag (for which you can choose or draw a symbol), add decoration elements from the following skills, if they are active, and more.

[Skill 2]

2.png.3793e4befb5b83e180d545750df3636a.png

Unlocks the Advanced Den Decorating Set (level 2 decorations). Unlocks the Cozy and Hunting sets (Action Wheel when clicking on the Den while holding the set).  (Concept art of the new sets after skill 3). You can add a bonus set to Den.

[Simple Den Decorating Set general features]

They work exactly like decorations in the game, only the Spider Queen, which can be obtained from the third-level den with the first skill of the Spider Queen tree, will cost more and also spread the effect at a distance equal to the default decoration.

[Advanced Den Decorating Set general features]

Dens increase their health by 50%, burn longer, have a larger area of effect, and you need to use a hammer to remove the decoration instead of a razor. Level 1 decorations now use 10% instead of 20%. To create a queen, you need more meat compared to a den with first-level decorations (Simple) and even more so without decorations. The Queen spreads effects at the same range as advanced decorations.

[Skill 3]

3.png.1e987d9a88b4a4c4e7f7bfea14bd1c46.png

Unlocks the Master Den Decorating Set (level 3 decorations). Unlocks the Worker and Combat sets (Action Wheel when clicking on the Den while holding the set). You can add a bonus set to Den.

[Master Den Decorating Set general features]

Dens increase their health by 100%, don't burn, and their area of effect is replaced by a target for spiders living in the den (To get the temporary bonus for Webber, you must sleep in the den). To remove a decoration, you must use a hammer instead of a razor. Tier 1 decorations consume 5% instead of 20%, and tier 2 decorations consume 10% instead of 20%. Creating a queen requires significantly more meat compared to a den with decorations of any level and especially without decorations. The Queen only transfers the effect to the spiders it spawns.

[Den Decorating Sets Concept Art]

The tables will show the decoration levels vertically and the dens levels horizontally.

[Friendly Set Concept]

1915616585_.png.b415c53dd5fff59a683db512d356893c.png

[Simple level]

  • The same as the in-game decoration, if there is no influence from skill perks.

[Advanced level]

  • Spiders: Do not affect the players' sanity.
  • Webber: Restores sanity near to den.
  • Other players: Unlock the ability to sleep in the den and are not slowed down on web turf [PERHAPS] Restore a little sanity near the den.
  • Spider Queen: Does not affect the sanity of nearby Survivors [PERHAPS] Slightly restores the sanity of nearby non-Webbers.

[Master level]

  • Spiders: Can be tamed by non-Webbers (Spiders are tamed for meat one by one, not in a group like with Webber).
  • Webber: Significantly restores sanity.
  • Other players: Significantly restores sanity near the den (as much as Webber) [PERHAPS]; they partially or fully receive the effects of other decorations. They move along the web turf at Webber's speed.
  • Spider Queen: Non-Webbers can drive and even ride the Spider Queen if she's tamed. (She can't be tamed by non-Webbers.) [PERHAPS] Webber can tame multiple of her spiders at once.

[Cozy Set Concept]

1481699487_.png.dc040d0aede9b90b3c40801c0c804d5a.png

[Simple level]

  • Spiders: Some remain in the den at dusk
  • Webber: Gains minor immunity to sleep.
  • Sleeping in the den: Slows down the decrease in satiety, the speed of recovery of sanity and health increases, body temperature returns to normal faster.
  • Spider Queen: Once tamed, the ability to temporarily transform into a den is unlocked. Sleeping in the temporary den depends on the level of the decoration. The temporary den's health is equal to the queen's. To transform the den back into a queen, click on it.

[Advanced level]

  • Spiders: None of them come out of their den in the evening.
  • Webber: Gains significant immunity to sleep.
  • Sleeping in the den: Possible during the day.
  • Spider Queen: Doesn't sleep during the day.

[Master level]

  • Spiders: Ignore players running on web turf
  • Webber: Doesn't fall asleep
  • Sleeping in the den: Nearby spiders or attacks on the den are ignored. The player will only wake up if the den is completely destroyed.
  • Spider Queen: Don't transform back from her den after being hit by someone else. (Her spiders will attack the enemy).

[Combat Set Concept]

2135657309_.png.ee8316931801a9e614f9ee89c8c464d3.png

[Simple level]

  • Spiders: Receive a minor bonus to damage, health, attack speed, and movement speed. There's a 15% chance to drop a second item upon death.
  • Webber: Slightly increases satiety, sanity, and health stats, and slightly increases damage and movement speed.
  • Web turf: Expands slightly. Webber speeds up slightly, while other characters and mobs slow down slightly more.
  • Spider Queen: Gains spiders, but to a lesser extent (Speed bonus slightly reduced, damage and cooldown bonus reduced more, health bonus extremely reduced) or [PERHAPS] Will not receive any spider bonuses other than speed, but the movement speed bonus will be greater. Increases loot dropped on death (Does not apply to spider hats and spider eggs).

[Advanced level]

  • Spiders: Receive a bonus to damage, health, attack speed, and movement speed. Guaranteed to drop 2 items upon death, with a 25% chance of dropping a third.
  • Webber: Increases satiety, sanity, health, damage, and movement speed.
  • Web turf: Expands. Webber moves faster, while other characters and mobs are slowed down more.
Doubles loot dropped on death (Does not apply to spider hats, small chance of dropping second spider eggs).

[Master level]

  • Spiders: Significantly increases damage, health, attack and movement speed. Guaranteed to drop four items on death, 50% chance of a fifth.
  • Webber: Significantly increases satiety, health, sanity, damage and movement speed.
  • Web turf: Reaches maximum. Webber moves very quickly. Other characters and mobs are seriously slowed down.
Triples loot dropped on death (Does not apply to the spider hat, small chance to drop up to three spider eggs).

[Worker Set Concept (The decoration retains the abilities of previous levels)]

477255232_.png.6419783fee35bb4772c41209dea2cd3b.png

[Simple level]

  • Spiders: [PERHAPS] Damage is reduced. Will dig up graves, weeds, and the like. (Except bushes and crops).
  • Webber: Plowing the land and digging (anything) will speed up.
  • Tamed: They will dig up what Webber digs up.
  • Spider Queen: [PERHAPS] Damage is reduced or eliminated. When moving, it will plow the ground (make holes).

[Advanced level]

  • Spiders: [PERHAPS] Damage is reduced. They can run up and "hit" a stone, tree, etc.
  • Webber: The speed of mining, cutting, etc. has been increased.
  • Tamed: Will mine what Webber mines (with their attack speed).
  • Spider Queen: [PERHAPS] Damage is reduced or eliminated.

[Master level]

  • Spiders: [PERHAPS] Damage is reduced. Will run up to the bushes and pluck loot from them.
  • Webber: The speed of harvesting (or picking up items) is increased.
  • Tamed: When Webber collects from bushes, spiders will pluck loot from nearby bushes of the same type.
  • Spider Queen: [PERHAPS] Damage is reduced or eliminated. Pulls items from multiple bushes when using "attack".

[Hunting Set Concept (The effect is selected from the decoration with a higher level)]

1646654819_.png.051b3292aeed69a1bf1d74f07c07b65e.png

[Simple level]

  • Spiders: Attacks passing mobs, which when killed drop rare items slightly more often. Like other mobs, they are affected by the sign. (upon death, they leave anything but the object with the sign)
  • Webber: Killing mobs drops rare items slightly more often.
  • Sign: If an item from the spiders' possible loot list is selected, it will not drop from mobs.
  • Spider Queen: Has a spider effect. (The sign's effect does not work on the spider hat or spider eggs).

[Advanced level]

  • Spiders: Attacks passing mobs, which when killed drop rare items more often. Like other mobs, they are affected by the sign (upon death, they always leave behind an item with the sign that had a chance to drop without it)).
  • Webber: Killing mobs drops rare items more often.
  • Sign: If an item from the list of possible spider loot is selected, it will always drop.
  • Spider Queen: Has a spider effect. (The sign's effect does not work on the spider hat or spider eggs).

[Master level]

  • Spiders: Attacks passing mobs, which when killed drop rare items much more often. Like other mobs, they are affected by the sign (upon death, they always leave behind an item with a sign if it could have dropped without it or been used for mutations).
  • Webber: Killing mobs drops rare items much more often.
  • Sign: The item from the list of possible spider loot is replenished with components for a switcherdoodle, which can be selected and it will always drop [PERHAPS] including from spiders, the components of the switcherdoodle for which are selected.
  • Spider Queen: Has a spider effect. (The sign's effect does not work on the spider hat or spider eggs).

[Decorations Stacking]

With this skill, you can attach as many as three sets to a single den. Here's an idea of what this might look like: The first set is the look shown in the images, with the flag, center segment, and some stickers remaining. The second set involves choosing the door/right or left segment, and swapping the other third of the stickers. The third set involves swapping the remaining right/left segment and a third of the stickers.

The effects stack, excluding the den's health and fire resistance (selected based on the highest-level decoration). Furthermore, the price of the Spider Queen also stacks, increasing the price for each decoration depending on its level.

[OTHER]

I'm finishing this post last night. We've covered a huge amount of ground in this skill tree today. All that's left are two equally huge Affinity branches and two branches that didn't have a place in the tree. The fact that it's gotten a thousand views makes me incredibly happy and shows that it's interesting. Honestly, after a month of its existence, I don't want to give up on this topic, but I know I'm close to the end. Even so, when the branches are finished, I'll try to post new thoughts here, without drawings, but I'll try to describe them in detail. Big hugs to you all and happy spring.

True, but you could also have it straighten as The new structures around them upgrade also this is a lesser criticism sense there’s customization that allows you to put the heart flake on all of the different types if you combine it with the friendly type, but I feel like the heart flake is sort of the spider nation under Webber flag so maybe the symbols for each of the different types could be conveyed in a different way other than the flag like what if it was like a crest over the door

Honestly, I thought I was the only one who thought the flag was a spider symbol, so I wasn't too worried about it. But I still decided to convey the meaning of the sets through stickers. The idea with the coats of arms is cool, as is the alignment with the levels (I even wanted the flagpole to be improved as well). And I'll be writing a post about branches very soon. I still have three icons and one tool left to draw for the branches that weren't included in the tree.

If you were to use the customization mechanic with friendly flag combat castle design, what would you pick to be the third thing, both design wise and Trying to get the most out of where you put in

Overall, the most fun and interesting-looking set for me is the cozy set. Spiders won't peek out of their dens, and with the combination of Webber's combat speed and the ability to transfer his effects to others, it could create an unusual path. I also like the windows with scale curtains. In practice, I'd choose Hunting because the loot is increased, or Worker, so that in the absence of the main miner on the team or Webber, other players can tame the crew and mine. I'm thinking about the custom decoration mechanic. I'd like to be able to not only choose/draw a flag icon, but also choose a color. This opens up a lot of possibilities for roleplaying spider civilizations. In addition to selectable stickers and their colors, it would be possible to choose individual building elements: windows, doors, curtains, room shapes and layouts, support beams or columns, and so on. But I'm not sure how custom.  decorations will work with sets. On the one hand, I'd like to avoid any awkward situations where a den appears to be a friendly set but is actually a combat set. But I'd also like the ability to create custom den architecture for different specializations. As I'm writing this, I've come up with an idea for signs that will display the set symbols. Or at least so that all used non-custom sets would be displayed when hovering over the den.
