Sasuga
Advanced research that could maybe go between Environmental Appreciation and Monument. Nightlights can give off a soft glow of light that is bright enough for those who are afraid of the dark but dim enough to not disturb those who need darkness to sleep. It doesn't give off enough light to give bonuses to working or any other bonuses. I'm imagining it being a light that needs to be attached to a wall, and only shines out for two tiles. So you place it on a wall next to a bed and it will provide light for the dupe sleeping in it. Or 3 tiles if necessary for it to work with a comfy bed, I don't use comfy beds enough to know. I'd also love an advanced nightlight that works as a wall tile/drywalls, so it doesn't take up space, and only glows and provides light for that single tile spot. So we could put them behind the dude's bed. Now I'm imagining multiple colored ones that glow, each needing electricity and when combined with automation could be used as disco-floor-like-walls, or digital displays by those who are inclined to program such a thing. Only providing light for the single square, and maybe the squares next to it if they're not also slight squares.. but it doesn't take up space so you can place a bed in front of it or anything. Lava Lamp, similar to the nightlight will give off enough light for those who need light to sleep while not too much light to disturb those who want and need darkness, but also add decor bonus and maybe even some additional mood enhancement. I'm imagining it being 2 tiles high by 1 tile wide. Disco Ball to just hang from the celling and does what a shines lights around a bit like the boombox or well, like a Disco Ball. Oh, and now I just thought of Glow-In-The-Dark wall tiles, and maybe other tiles... They require light to charge them up and then when the lights are turned off they will glow for a period of time, long enough to last the night. Giving off a soft light that helps dupes navigate but doesn't disturb sleepers.
