It legitimately feels like we're left to rot in a game that's now a buggy mess. I'll share one of the bugs on Xbox DST. This is one of the biggest issues: How does a bug that plagues multiplayer stay unfixed for ALMOST TWO YEARS? This is the entire point of the game, and you're telling me that for 50% of players, it's impossible to host and join servers? This is ridiculous. Look at how many people had this issue, and I bet that most of them still have this issue: Spoiler There are 200 more reports of this issue, I just don't feel like pasting all the links to here, but you get the point. This game is basically unplayable for 50% of the time. There's also another issue that affects multiplayer. If you SOMEHOW managed to join a server, which is starting to get more and more difficult. You will get randomly disconnected from the server, it happens every ~8 to 20 days, and it's STUPIDLY annoying. This happens to everyone. You play a server and EVERYONE gets disconnected every hour. The host will see everyone leaving at the same time. This is why people are leaving this game! It's literally unplayable unless if you play solo.
