this is tier 1 pearl tasks so no worries about tea or anything!

i spent all of autumn in the caves collecting silk and lightning bugs so there is only 4 days left in the season and i have not started my pearl tasks at all.

so far i have collected berry bushes(with rot to fert)

collected live butterflies

have a puffy vest

have meat for drying

have an umbrella(i will be maxing my rain but i am not sure i will get any with such a short time)

i have a flower salad

i am only lacking a moonrock and some cookie shells for the house(easy enough to get).

IF i get the rain that is 9 of the ten points, if i dont get rain that is 8. you guys are clever, what would be the most optimal way to get up to 10 with only 4 days left? if the strat requires resources what resources do i need to pack in addition to my current kit? normally i dont rush it and use up the end of spring and most of summer but i let that get away from me so i am trying to play catch-up before mid-winter so i can get back on track with tusk and eye collecting

With Telelocator Staff, you can easily get the rain, so you just need to choose among Fishing、Shell Cluster and Sawhorse.

If Pearl's gift doesn't include Heavy Weighted Lure, you'll need to prepare Pocket Scale yourself. I prefer to give Pearl heavy enough fish in the middle and later stages of the game, so I would choose Shell Cluster or Sawhorse myself.

Here's my list:
17 Boards (House, Sawhorse, Pinchin' Winch, Wooden Chair)
7 Cut Stone (House, Pinchin Winching, Relic Chair)
7 Ropes (House, Pinchin Winching)
1 Empty Bottle (Pinchin' Winch)
4 Flint (Sawhorse)
10 Cookie Cutter Shells (House)
1 Firefly (House)
10 Marbles (House)
3 Light Bulbs (House)
10 Moon Rocks (House)
5 Carpeted Flooring (House)
10 Butterflies (Plant)
8 Berry Bushes (Plant)
8 Fertilizer (Fertilize Berries)
6 Meat items to dry (Kelp doesn't work anymore!)
Salad/Winter Clothing/Umbrella (Wicker can force rain, 2 purple staffs can also force rain)

So there's a few options:

House (3), Wooden Chair (1), Flowers (1), Drying (1), Berries (1), Removing Trash (1), Kill Lureplant (1), Season Related Item (1) = 10
This is assuming you got the relic chair blueprint in the ruins. Since you have the salad that can be done instead of the chair.
I also assumed the lureplant has spawned since you already have a Flower Salad.

House (3), Salad (1), Flowers (1), Drying (1), Berries (1), Removing Trash (1), Kill Lureplant (1), Puffy Vest or Umbrella (1) = 10

If you manage to do both the Puffy Vest and the Umbrella you don't have to clean the trash since that is time consuming.

The no rain version would be
House (3), Salad (1), Flowers (1), Drying (1), Berries (1), Wooden Chair (1), Lureplant (1), Removing Trash (1) = 10
You do need the chair blueprint for this though.

There is also the seasonal fish or 5x heavy fish options, but those are time consuming if you are not Wicker, but who knows, maybe you already have either of those available?

i suppose my handle doesnt exactly lend me any credibility towards being a wicker main x''D but with rain cranked up and there being four days my odds are good enough it is worth hoping rng is my friend

your first set is what i usually choose but since i lack time i was hoping to an alternative to pinchin'  the third is what i was thinking i was going to have to do(though i was tired and though someone had a more efficient way) with the only difference being i trade the chair out for either puffy or umbrella, whichever came first

sawhorse is out of the question. i spent two summers and most of an autumn in caves and didnt see a single chair or find the station with the chest yet(to be fair i actually have been lollygagging a LOT with this world) it is looking like pinchin' winch is the sad winner

Damn I guess I'm the only one who does the fishing tasks for Pearl... it's just so easy though. At a slightly higher friendship point you could buy heavyweight lure if you've been unlucky. I catch fish with whatever lure is suitable and keep them in a tin fishing bin

Speaking as a non rusher of course. I'm just way too lazy to go over to Pearl when it snows or rains. 😅

Sometimes I end up overdoing the tasks because I hadn't completed the house yet.

if i am already on the water in summer i occasionally do the fishing stuff just because you can get weighted lures from chests. if i am not going to get rain anyway i might as well, you know? but only then x''D i really dont like ocean fishing because i am bad at it, hahahahaha
