Kacpert25
Mutated birds that always spawn during lunar hail, but don't disappear or fly away in any way. It's cool that they now appear outside of the lunar storm. But why do they have to crowd the world so much? It's irritating that with each lunar hail, the world becomes increasingly crowded with mutated birds. Of course, compared to the lunar buzzards problem, this is a minor issue. But considering them as a whole of this mechanic, this is another drawback for the new lunar hail. By the way, it's just hilarious. With the Ancient Echoes update, the void masques added during Hallowed Nights were finally fully fixed and no longer dropped their loot upon despawning. And a later update, again during Hallowed Nights, a mechanic was added that once again crowded the world through mobs. So, you could say that lunar hail is, like, void masques 2.0. Pumking7
I appreciate that appear makes it way less weird that they are a moon storm exclusive bird mutant, and now just a general bird mutant from lunar sources. This has been a issue for a while with lunar mutant birds clogging up the world after clearing out moon storms and forgetting to kill them off. If the player does not pick them up with a bird trap and place them in a cage or on the ground after, they should despawn within a few days. There is no reason they need to be kept around as they just clog up the world and its entities. Also as a side note all of the birds respawn as the "Moonblind crow" regardless of what species of bird they are. I assume this will be fixed by changing the name to "Moonblind bird" but I can hope we'll maybe get variants for other birds. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168995-lets-talk-about-the-second-problem-of-lunar-hail/#findComment-1844857 Share on other sites
