When a Duplicant consumes a Radiation Pill, the "sit down and take medicine" animation only plays if they are inside a Hospital room (as defined by the room system). If the pill is consumed elsewhere—such as inside a Spacefarer Module—the Duplicant remains completely motionless throughout the entire consumption process. Once the pill is finished, they suddenly play the "stand up from sitting" animation, despite never having sat down in the first place.

Thanks for considering this!

I didn't know Hospital room would "fix" animation. Thanks!

Also I'd like to add that it's really annoying that duplicants rush for the pills in the middle of working hours. They could use downtime for pills instead of interrupting whatever they were doing and rushing to pill storage. On highest radiation difficulty rad pills are kinda necessary.

I'd like the pills to be taken only after a certain level of infection/disease. Checking and prescribing pills individually is tedious.  And if they're not prescribed individually, they'll waste all the pills they spent so much time creating.

Yeah I wish radiation pills logic was changed.

One possibility would be having a radiation threshold (say 50% of the way to minor radiation sickness) that triggers the Duplicant to seek a radiation pill. As a practical matter I hardly ever actually use rad pills as a preventive, but rather a curative, after a dupe already has minor radiation sickness I have them take pills to get better sooner than relying on natural elimination.

How I dispense radiation pills is by keeping them behind door restrictions and when I want a dupe to take a pill, I relax the door restrictions for long enough for the dupe to grab one, it's less annoying than messing with the consumables window. But I feel that the "50% threshold" concept would cover most the cases.
