BIZARRE ERROR: [string "scripts/components/weather.lua"]:478: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'dynrange' (a nil value)

Getting this incredibly frustrating error whenever I try and join my friend's world. This did not happen just a few days ago. I uninstalled the game and deleted all game files for the game and did a full reinstall and still get this issue. My friend does not get the issue even though they also fully uninstalled and deleted all game files. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you need more information from me. Here is a screenshot of the screen it shows me.

It is tricky to guess what the problem is since you haven't posted any technical details about your setup, not even which operating system your computer is running. Have you tried running the 64 bit version of the game?

Right click on Don't Starve Together in Steam, "Properties", "General", "Selected Launch Option:", "Play Don't Starve Together"*.

 

*(as opposed to "Play Don't Starve Together (32 Bit))

I'm using Windows 10. The 64 bit version of the game did not work and the game just went unresponsive.
