Instead of straight-up buffing thulecite clubs' durability once again to counter their current niche use I propose more creative solution - it should reward the player for proper maintenance.

Make thulecite clubs regain durability when fighting shadow creatures with a factor of 1.5 - for each 2 hits on shadows you get a net profit of 1 extra use. Consistent use of a club to fight shadow/non-shadow creatures at ≥2:1 average ratio would make it last forever - however, achieving this ratio outside of shadow-infested areas such as ruins or insanity fend-offs would likely be impossible.

Nightmare creatures that spawn during nightmare phase also count, so a player can intentionally choose to fight them instead of retreating (and having to wait likely doing nothing, solving yet another issue) to repair the club that got damaged by fighting clockworks earlier, making it a perfect situational weapon in ruins. Use it right and keep it forever. Even if the player fails to achieve that sweet ratio he would still get much more uses out of a single club than its nominal amount. Otherwise using a thulecite club as a sole weapon for daily fights will get it depleted rather quickly since it only has 75% more total damage than a dark sword.

(Inspired by this thread that I chose not to derail with my own suggestion)
