Mitch-El Posted September 28, 2025 Share Posted September 28, 2025 So recently I've seen some people sharing their observation on the poor enemy variety coming out of the lunar rifts, in this post I'll share some of my ideas of what I think can be fun addition to the rift content, hope you like it. So, let's start with something what is already in game, shattered spiders, I always found this pretty strange that there's no way of getting shattered spider back on the server, without hallowed nights present, after destroing all the dens on the lunar island, so I think it could be an interesting obstacle for the player and mark better lunar presence in the world if the rift gestalts could reanimate killed spider queensland instead of reviving them it would turned them in to the shattered spider den, but the ones revived by the rift gestalts would spawd shattered spider with planar defence and offence to spice things up. Since we are on the spider topic I think it would be an interesting change for the brightshade to not infect your garden with weeds but spider dens growing this weed inside them and using said spiders as its protection. yes the design of what I called bright-chelicerae spider is based on the moonbound webber skin but I figured, since the skin is not resembling the shattered spider maybie there would be some other new lunar spider virant in the future, maybe with his skill tree or whatever, but I think it could also play great addition to signal the lunar takeover on the constant land. For this spider power I came up with him spitting the gestalt on the player making them groggy and eventually put to sleep, making it perfect moment to attack, this problem could make people consider making Mushy Cake more often to clean the infestation from the certain place and not fall the victim to this spiders sleepy attack. And the last addition is two brightshade birds, but more aggressive and more to put on a fight, not the ones that we have during moon hail that are quite passive, one already was in the files, Crystal-Crested Buzzard And my idea for the Bright-beak Tallbird Its power would be that while attacking, the area under it would spawn crystals dealing additional damage to the player, and if players run for too long from the fight it would use its new attack which is shooting laser That's it for now, let me know what you thing about those ideas and thank you. 4 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168217-some-ideas-for-the-brightshade-enemieslunar-rift-enemies/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

Shattered Spider Den and Shattered Spider could then have slightly different textures. Den could be slightly overgrown with pure brilliance, as could some of the glass fragments of Shattered Spider. Btw, now that I think about it, the Shattered Spider's color scheme is a bit odd. It's an interesting idea, but I don't think it fits. Their current behavior has some logic. Because the Incursive Gestalt possessing plants grows Brightshade, another plant, on them. So, by possessing plants, it uses them in some way to produce a plant creature.
