Locating Whirlpool idea

Morning yall,

Could we have an update where the astral detector or some other item could point us into the direction of the whirlpool? I am not keen on just "revealing map" to figure out where it could be. Exploring the entire map is a bit tedious as well 

 

I'd love input on this as well, preferably unmodded

Was there when you struggled to find it. XD, I literally sweat a little to make sure the prefab name is the right one after all.

It's in deep ocean, deep dark blue sea, I had sailed to search two times in my worlds recently, felt kinda alright.

Maybe there is a pattern similar to shipwrecked volcano being more towards corners.

Have people tested it? In my last world it was in a corner.

i have rolled about 7 worlds and checked maps, none were in corners, sadly
