Lunar moths should self replant, giving them a less player driven and more natural transplantation

I am unsure if lune trees are supposed to be so unnatural and new that the players cannot let them self replant without regrowth kicking in, or that it was not added without much other reason.

I think lunar moths should feel at home on the lunar island enough for you to chop and them to spread on their own. They wouldn't feel natural on the mainland but more on lunar island, giving them a more appealing way to go to lunar island to chop trees for bigger burst of wood, or more moths after they grow up into big trees.

This is true, and to some extent, it also limits the output of experiments such as the Lunar Experiment.
Perhaps on MoonIsland Forest, the common flowers located near the existing Lune trees can be naturally transformed into new Lune trees.
Besides, I noticed that Catcoon can provide players with Butterfly, Petals, Dark Petals, Pine Cone and Birchnut. Maybe adding Moon Moth Wings and Lune Tree Blossom would also be a good idea.
