I just would like to see a "TRAIT" where dups are omnivorous or carnivorous or vegetarian or vegan or gluten intolerant , or something else and makes you do all the types of food for specific dupes. Would add incerased challenge over food instead of just morale boost. Thanks

What about non-medical more cosmetic items.

Soap.

Incense.

A soap (or perfume) dispenser that would function like the spice grinder, but for bathrooms

I realize that we need to have self-curing dupes because we can't soft-lock the player if they don't have the cure ingredients. It would REALLY suck if the zombie spores were permanent, but you also killed all the shine bugs so you destroyed all chance of making zombie cures. The self-curing mechanic must remain.

Well, while it would suck, wouldn't that be the point? If a player isnt prepared to deal with what should be the absolute worst disease the game has to offer, the consenquences should be the colony downfall. The self curing mechanic could stay for food poisoning, but leaving it for slime lung and zombie spore mean that there isnt real consequences for ignoring said dise.

That said,I understand your point of possibly soft locking players by making those disease deadly. Perhaps having cure limited to specific ingredients like sun bugs is too limiting. The various cure could be made with more common ingredients, but, in returns, have to be researched before. Basicly, we could build a medical lab and, after using sample of slime or sporekids, unlock cure for these diseases.
