It's an after Fweaver feature, only after shadow rift is open -remember that post of yours complaining about the boss being too hard to beat? Welp, having rewards after a hard fight ain't bad.

That would only make sense if the intention of the rifts is to make the game easier After the “hard fight” but It is not, we both know that rifts are intended to ramp up the difficulty after defeating the bosses. Rather unfortunately: both the shadow & the lunar rifts do not seem to do enough to warrant being locked to such late game.

Like I mean: in their current inception- It’s easier to engage with rifts content then it is doing all the tasks to reach rifts content.. Idk Klei’s game balance is way the hell off.

Yes, only after AFW, the ruins are updated so that you can go get green gems and craft an amulet... And you're already getting a great reward after killing him. Armor D
A complaint about the complexity? I don't remember that. I was just complaining about how long the fights were, which made them boring.  This is further reinforced by the fact that it can be killed literally by AFK if desired...
