Kinda funny to think that all of the lunar arc worsens our survivors' lives (if you don't count the crafts) the moment they even dare help Wagstaff. Alter was dormant, chilling, sleeping and vibing even... until that old man had to barge in, disrespect it, wanting to siphon its power despite all it did to retaliate... in all ways possible.

Well, he screwed around and found out Alter isn't interested in playing his games. Projection no more, physically kidnapped and banished to the lunacy realm. Hah!

...oh yeah about the revenant boss I don't like how it's just CC phase 1 (the sequel; now with planar damage!!)
In a lore perspective I suppose it's Alter trying to send CC down again in a partially "enhanced" form hence its power output being optimal for Wagstaff's plans since regular CC was Alter's first line of defense, which, obviously failed.

Idk man the entire ocean and the ability to decide on banishing Charlie from the surface or not, alters influence on the constant has some strong positives

Ideally six people do make some stuff easier (bosses, most of the time) but add additional complications for others (feeding them, clothing them, organizing them). I think the former gets a lot of attention in videos and other content, but it isnt that easy to do it long term. Or it shouldnt, anyway. Then again, maybe it isnt a problem if things are just easier with more people.

This creates quite a big imbalance in the experience. Some may like the fact that there may not be as much food in the team in the world as there are resources for clothes (Although Klei specifically made a lot more resources compared to DS).
Organization is literally the meaning and all the charm of multiplayer.
Sometimes it's ridiculously easy in a team. Look to Nightmare Werepig. He falls 1 time and after that he dies from 5 Wilsons damage :/

Is it bad that the team is easier? It's not just easier, it's more interesting.

i’ll be honest that i do not quite understand what your post is saying, but i want to highlight  this- zerging down nightmare werepig after he falls one time is an extremely bad idea for obvious reasons and a good example of how more people may not add anything!

Nightmare Werepig has one of the worst things about DST. Stun's bosses...  Make bosses fall for 5-10 seconds... This not only makes the boss more unbalanced for players over 2. It also makes the fight more boring... Seriously... Stand afk for 5 seconds and hold F... Dragon Fly generally has 10 seconds...
Frost Jaw has the best implementation. They have a lot of animations related to stun's. And even their 8000 hp makes them very quick to kill. But this is just a formality. She cannot withstand the onslaught of more than 3 players...
