Sofy Happy
The WARBIS series is currently underused. While adding lightning resistance could help, its core issues lie in its late-game timing (obtained after defeating the Celestial Champion) and its clunky Combat Analysis mechanic, which is hard to maintain but easily lost. Proposed Changes for WARBIS Gear: Improved Target Locking: When attacking non-analyzed targets, gradually reduce analysis stacks over time instead of immediately resetting them. Stops decaying once the player resumes attacking the analyzed target. Increased Analysis Range & Speed: Double the analysis range for better usability. Speed up the analysis process to make it more viable in combat. Planar Damage & Defense Scaling: Helmet: Gains planar damage based on analysis stacks. Armor: Gains defensive bonuses per stack: 2-3 stacks: Immunity to knockback. 4 stacks: hitstun immunity. Lightning Resistance for Thulecite Armor: With the increasing prevalence of electric-based combat, giving Thulecite Armor lightning resistance would make it a more competitive alternative to the Thulecite Crown, which already offers strong utility and convenience as a head slot item. 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167089-improvements-for-warbis-gear-adding-lightning-resistance-to-thulecite-armor/ Share on other sites
GrapeVruit
I feel like they could also do what they did with the E-Fences and just have Scrappy Werepig drop blueprints for the armor set. Not only does it parallel the armor you got from him in the caves, but it'd see more use since you can get it pre-rifts. The recipe would be tweaked to be much cheaper, though. Maybe instead of a crown shard you could use moon glass or moon rocks? IDK, something that's not too cheap or expensive. Frashaw27
I don't really understand how lightning resistance makes the thulecite armor specifically better, especially in comparison to the crown. Yes, lightning resistance is good but it doesn't really fit against the omnipresent ability of a complete shield. I would prefer a passive that is more in line with the crowns passive then adding an aspect to it randomly. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167089-improvements-for-warbis-gear-adding-lightning-resistance-to-thulecite-armor/#findComment-1827586 Share on other sites
