I would like to suggest for a Feather Pen to have 3 uses instead of 1 for writing on signs

I would like to suggest this change to make organizing base a bit earlier on a bit less tedious. 3 uses would be fair in my opinion when used for writing on signs for designating chests and other loot areas.

Won't it be better to get 3 feather pens per craft instead of getting 3 uses out of one pen since there stack right now? 

Making feather pens are already cheap to make, how many sighs you need to draw to make this change needed?

I disagree. Making more pens with the same crafting materials will create more items and that is always lag inducing.

It is also self explained. One pen, 3 uses. It is described in OP

I would also prefer it to be 3 pencils per craft. Right now, I can hold 20 feather pencils in one slot, while if they had 3 uses each then I would need to hold 7 whole pencils in individual slots for the same amount of mini signs. Not to mention all the item juggling I'd need to do for whatever I was wanting to draw ON the signs.

Honestly just make feather pencil an actual tool with, like, 20 uses and make the recipe slightly expensive.

Yeah, a stack of pens over multiple uses just for inventory management. 

But then the cost makes less sense.

Making 3 feathers and 1 coal, stick.

3 feather pencils.

Idk, just need lots of feathers either way.

Catcoon farm.

 

Maybe just make them unlimited uses for mundane tasks and get consumed on recipes.
