Presently PPP offers no source of phosphorite, granted there's a huge amount of existing phosphorite on a PPP map, and it doesn't have particularly critical uses, with the main three being Wheezewort, Pincha Peppernuts and Fertilizer, additionally Shine Bugs though they aren't native to PPP maps. You can probably go thousands of cycles without running out.

But it would be nice to have a Phosphorite source without needing Dreckos or Bammoths, both of which somewhat undermine Rhexes.

My suggestion would be to turn Gnits into a source of Phosphorite, either dropping a little when they die like Beetas drop a little nuclear waste, or processing the eggs into a little phosphorite. Gnits are exceedingly optional at the moment as their main purpose is feeding Lura plants, but you can easily use Mimikas as a native option, Shine bugs or Beetas (which are free like Gnits). With how optional Gnits are, a phosphorite source would give them a unique role, but still not a particularly critical one for players who don't want to bother with Gnits.

This would also be compatible with how Dreckos make Phosphorite for free by eating resourceless Balm Lily, and Bammoths are part of a resource positive loop that also produces phosphorite out of thin air.
