Wuntunzee
Hi, Anyone else feel like the vibration has been dialled up too high in this latest update? Having only played with the update for a couple hours, I don't know if it's just a Playstation thing, a Dualsense thing, or a general Controller thing, but if you have a big Woby in the server, it's so non stop, vibrations have become meaningless. Every little action has some vibration now, and you can't turn it off in the menu (interface vibration I turned off straight away but having vibration for giants, tremors and Antlion attacks are necessary. Opening a box / picking up an item / walking up to the saw horse... everything has vibration now. It would be nice to have the option to choose what vibrates or not. My specific grievances are that : Woby's vibration is annoying for Walter and other players. On split screen, if one player does a vibrating action, the other player feels it too. We can't turn it off, because sometimes the vibration is the first you'll realise Deerclops is coming. Our Dualsenses are going to run out of charge even quicker. I believe we should have a choice, even if it's like a verbose / laconic setting for controller vibrations. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/166733-controller-vibration-needs-to-be-user-defineable/ Share on other sites
Magnushawk
Yes it’s horrible. The vibration has become so random, but in every play session it gets so constant when it doesn’t even make any game sense to me that I have to turn it off. If it was supposed to enhance immersion , it’s not operating as intended because it kills my immersion entirely. I don’t know why it’s buzzing half the time. Changing the second vibration setting helped but I always ah e tk turn off the primary vibration. Either it needs to go back to how it was or it needs to be user defined.
