I think this was suggested a couple times before, but wanted to bring it up again.

The wandering trader is a very cool idea and I like him a lot. But the issue is he kinda doesn't have anything worth purchasing past like, day 12.

As far as I've been told the only form of new stock he gets, is glass shards when it's raining lunar hail. Which if that is true that is so mean.

Some more middling items/larger stock surplus would be pretty cool. Have him sell wood or boards. To solve the issue of grass tufts not respawning in the world, he could sell those as well.

Having a seasonal shop item could be interesting as well. Like birchnut seeds for autumn, ice in winter, leafy meat/carrots in spring, and maybe the oasis packages in summer (could use silk for this trade, exchange time fishing oasis for the cost of making rods).

That's a great idea. It would be interesting to see the stock update based on progress in the game and the season. For example, after defeating the Scrappy Werepig, allow the Wandering Trader to sell scrap. Or after upgrading the Star Caller Staff, add a moonstone to the selection.

I also have a small idea — mostly this feature is almost useless, but it could add a small, nice detail: the ability to exchange trinkets with the Wandering Trader for others of the same value just by giving them to him (mainly for collection purposes, yes, we all need Mr. Gnome at any cost)

It would also be great if this guy sold unique specific items, even if they are just decoratives.
