Although the new boss deals high damage, it's ultimately just a clumsy damage sponge. Both in Phase 1 and Phase 2, its normal attack frequency is completely outmatched by Bone Armor's cooldown. With few skills to worry about, we don't even need to dodge normal attacks - just learn to handle its special mechanics and you can easily defeat it.

Phase 2 Bone Armor No-Damage Strategy:
  Key Points:

  • Fight near the island's edge to prevent ground traps from covering all three shelters

  • But don't stand too close to the edge, or the boss's charge attack will gain an additional hit that bypasses Bone Armor protection

Demo: The video uses max DPS for brevity, but this method works universally.

Already demonstrated in this previous post. While slightly adjusted now, we can still teleport the drones away. See details here:

Am I the only one thinking this is way easier than Warbot?

It is. The main problem with Warbot are his missiles but its just preperation problem. Other than that his attacks are easy to dodge.

It needs double attacks like cc

I think it would be best if the dash itself was treated as a move that did rapid damage hits, similar to CC’s spin (they would probs need to tune the damage in that case, since ATM it’s really dangerous at ~180 physical + 35 planar for players that get hit by the dash). That way, bone armor would still be helpful, but wouldn’t entirely negate the move’s damage.

This attack can easily be strafed anyway (at the cost of time and so dealing damage) and doesn't do that much damage, but if you position this attack wrong you might get destroyed by arena ground effect covering wrong space.
Did it without bone armour, magilum was pretty good to position boss properly as well, and brightshade helm would lose only like 16% durability per one charge

"The New Boss's Phase Ⅱ is Too Easy"... says the person using Wolfgang with Volt Goat Chaud-Froid. But it's the bone armor that makes the fight easy...

As long as you manage aggro properly, the effectiveness is largely the same. The high DPS method was chosen in the video to keep the file size minimal for easier uploading and viewing.

why do you want to make bone armour worthless?

Why is there so much hostility on the forums? We're just sharing an easy strategy for the new boss.

No you are not doing just that. You are asking for(or implying the need for) a nerf to bone armour/buff to WARBOT. I'm fine with those things but saying you're "just sharing strategy" is disingenuous.

Why do people have a problem with Bone Armor negating his attacks? If it's a problem for you, then just don't use it, there are plenty of other armors to choose from. I don't think it's too OP, after all, you get Bone Armor by defeating Fuelvever, who is a pretty tough boss. Warbot already has a difficult enough first phase, so there's no point in making the second phase more complicated, especially when you already have to be careful not to let him spam the whole arena with laser fields...

I also hope that for completing the shadow side, we'll get an upgrade to the Bone Armor that works like the one in Hamlet, so in addition to what it currently provides, it will also function as a backpack.

There is no problem for the player to choose to use Wolfgang and increase his DPS with Volt Goat Chaud-Froid. There is also no problem with Klei to make sense for a harder Boss loot item in the game.

The problem is your video tries to induce developers to prevent players from using Bone Armor.

Make the same type of video with Maxwell (prison) and Wigfrid (shield) and put in the title the same pattern "The New Boss's Phase ⅱ is too easy:". If you do that, at least there will be some consistency.

And I find it important to the videos you bring from the exploits of the bosses.

But as for this video attacking Bone Armor, the first thing I observed was you hide the character's inventory. You also didn't let the damage the character is giving in the game. However, the use of Volt Goat Chaud-Froid cannot be hidden in the game.
