Slvrsrfr
It may seem odd. But it would be nice to know the tonnage of the materials currently on the floor. So we could make the appropriate amount of storage for it. If creating the station allowed for a tally of material weight, or volume that has been excavated it would help more closely define the necessary storage needed to contain it all. After the initial process of excavation has completed the ground is littered with materials. And it's difficult to estimate the needed quantity of storage. A running total would greatly reduce that. A simple comparative, X amount of debris = X storage containers(discounting or toggling waste and misc). Can it be done with the select-able mats display menu? Thinking back to some of the data requested that they add, I think there is some rough summary somewhere. Slvrsrfr
I think it does take in to account how much is debris on the floors. But it doesn't distinguish how much is 'loose'.
