I know that this is gonna be dealing with old spaghetti code again from beginning of DST's caves, but ruins overall generate kinda wack sometimes. There was someone mentioning I remember about how original game's ruins felt more grand and epic to explore and fight through, which kinda sucks that we either now get tiny or very rarely large ruins generating.

World generation settings for making bigger caves does not exactly include the loot part of ruins, they have higher chance to get squished down to be smaller than usual as result. Once you do some code updating for generations and updating overall generation options please do have option to either increase ruin size for us or make them generate a more consistent amount of loot range. Also to add more open ruin tile biomes, those are scary and fun to explore sometimes because they feel more tense for some reason.
