Coopator Posted June 21, 2025 Share Posted June 21, 2025 For me Gnits would fit in well for the pacu chain. Make pacus be able to eat gnit eggs (fish love mosquito). Maybe one of the pacu variants like the Tropical pacu would be the most thematic variety to eat gnits. On an unrelated note to clarify the original post the first idea was to allow gnit stings to alleviate the symptoms of Dupes with the allergic trait. Pproy Posted September 9, 2025 Share Posted September 9, 2025 I saw a suggestion that gnit could drop phosphorite. Since the only way that we can produce phosphorite is through dreko, which doesnt synergise at all with the curent dlc, if gnit could drop some on death, or through another recipy it would be nice. Just for reference. My bad, forgot about them. Still, Bammoth are not native and would still be in competition with rhex for fiber. That said, I wouldnt go as far to say that gnits are useless. They serve as food for lura plants. While they dont offer mutch more, they require praticly nothing in exchange. They just need a critter or dupe to sting for reproduction, and that including mimika.
