Trying to recover a lost world from steam cloud

i want to know how to backup a world to protect it, steam cloud dont save the files for 1 month, how i do to make steam cloud protect my last game?

I'd always either copy my worlds somewhere else, to essentially have manual backups, or write a small script that does this automatically for me in regular intervals.

I don't think there's anything you can do about steam cloud saves.
