Fun Walter Idea

Using Walter's Woby here/there perk, being able to deliver items to your friends and set locations is really great.
Another fun idea for the perk would be if your friend could hop on Woby and ride them back to you, or potentially you could set up ocuvigils in specific locations to set up a Woby network. The Woby train.

Wortox's skill tree was given an item that lets you teleport other players to you. Walter doesn't need that perk on top of everything else.

You're right, he doesn't need it, but it would still be a fun addition in my opinion

Wortox doesn't need it either. Bringing up Wortox just supports the idea that Walter could be able to do this since another far more powerful character got an incomparably better version of this.

Maybe your character is just overtuned if literally any suggested buff I see either steps on Wortox's shoes, or invalidates his perks? I swear, if someone suggests an item that instantly kills all bosses I would somehow end up finding out that this is apparently "one of Wortox's few perks". Literally any strong or cool perk suggested apparently invalidates him.

Teleporting is literally his thing. The perks that invalidate him involve giving more teleportation to other characters. Just stop asking for that, and use the lazy deserter or telefocus instead?

Using ocuvigils when Wanda has to gather walrus tusks? In what universe does the character who just got very powerful ranged buffs, day 1 fastest mount, and free teleportation of items also get that? I swear, Walter mains are getting to be worse than Wendy mains.

(Wortox does have a thing for killing bosses in seconds, but that's a bug that bypasses explosion resistance. IDK if it was fixed.)

Woby here, woby there is only useful for a "basebuilder" Walter who doesn't need big woby for speed and you need to send healing/food to other players that are exploring while also receiving loot back from that player.

It does need a buff of sorts if you are out of the base exploring...being able to pick up other players and bring them to the ruins for example would make it a worth while skill to pick... right now its bleh, like no Walter in their right mind is gonna sacrifice wobys insane speed boost when exploring.

I get that it kinda overlaps with Wortox but every character overlaps with everyone else (maxwell,woodie,wurt,Walter,Wolfgang all have better chopping/mining abilities but each is done in a unique way)

The skill is fine. It’s already very useful multiplayer and okayish solo. Good enough. The only real issue is with Woby not being able to return to you on a boat until you reach land (not a WHWT-specific issue). Woby giving other players rides is the sort of large change that isn’t happening with the beta done, to both the skill and flavor of Walter being off scouting with her on his own.
