I think Joesmoecoolstuff's key bindings are optimal.  Shift for swapping inventory 1, swap the bindings of keys f and space, c for inventory 2, r for inventory 3, z and x for inventory 4 and 5.  Tab for map.  L3for mapings.

If you are rebinding your inventory key binds,  it might be better to not bind the first inventory slot and leave it available for filler items since it is the slot that gets stolen from by frogs and monkeys
