Radicaljoe
I'm not gonna count affinities for most characters (exceptions will be explained) because a lot of them are supposed to be the capstone of the trees. So like, everyone would be in F because you have to spend 10 skills to unlock lunar affinity. But I made this because I realized there are a lot of times where a tree can take a whole ton of skills to get to a single skill you want, so I wanted to count the maximum lines in each tree it takes to get to a skill. (I.E. I was bored) Wilson-4 (torch toss, beard storage, etc.) Wolfgang-5(planar upgrade/gym skill) Woodie-6(curse embracer) Wormwood-8(lightbulb/saladmanders) this one is an exception because though it is an affinity skill, it's not based on total skills in the tree, but requires 5 on one side. Willow-3 Bernie-9 (I'll average it to 6 just because Burning Bernie removes the ability to use Willow's personal affinity so it's essentially like an affinity skill in itself, but you can decide yourself if you disagree Wigfrid- 5(shield ability) Winona-8 Catapult-9(Similar to Wormwood, "affinity skill" but the unlock is not specifically total skills in a tree, but a weird "x skills under this shelf" mechanic, also if you wanna be pedantic Winona herself doesn't get affinity, but her catapults do, so I'm gonna use Winona's number, but catapult is still there for the real full length path.) Wurt-5(the water healing/armor) Wendy-4(elixer line) Wortox-7 (soul pierce 2) Walter-3 Woby- 4 (averaged to 3.5) (bullet bag for walter and the postal pup skill for Woby/the skill right before her affinities) Walter is a weird case because Postal Pup SHOULD count as a Woby skill, but it doesn't help unlock anything for the Woby affinities... but I'm pretty sure it should, so I'm counting it as Woby instead of Walter. The characters in S tier have a whopping 0 skill path in their skilltree, the number is so low DST refuses to register it in the character selection screen and doesn't even show the tree, hopefully klei fixes that in the future. JJ0264
my guess on future skilltree (1 monster character, 1 DLC character, 1 character) 1a. Webber (he was going to be with Wendy and Walter last winter, hope they fix the lag) 2a. Warly (Needs a update the most) 3a. Wes (Doesn't need one, but the skills don't need to be good) 1b. WX (he's good right now, no real problems) 2b. Wanda (she feel op, but bland) 3b. Wicker (she more interesting then Wanda, but not a lot people play as her) 1c. Maxwell (seems fitting to be the final skilltree) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/165447-tierlist-based-on-skill-path-length/#findComment-1814058 Share on other sites
