CyberSkink Posted April 7, 2025 Share Posted April 7, 2025 Hello forumites, I just wanted to say thank you for allowing such a diverse amount of people to coexist in the community that is the Klei forums. While we have our ups and downs, we all seem to share that same spirit that we want to express. I know that us forumites may not always agree on everything, but I wanted to take a moment to thank all of the people on the forums, whether they are reserved or outspoken. Without you, DST would not change to what it is today and it would be a much worse game because of it. For example, when Wolfgang first got his refresh, there was an uproar about it, however, it was that very same reation that allowed Klei to recive the feedback they needed to make the game better. While some comments may seem overly harsh to me, I know they are meant to build rather than break. This is because diamonds can only be formed under immense pressure and heat. I want to let people know that even if someone disagrees with their opinion it does NOT invalidate it. Everyone has their own life experiences and to deny someone else's validity is not cool. I am still guilty of this from time to time, but I won't let that stop other people from voicing their opinions, even if it is met with a bit of backlash. Anyways, I just wanted to thank you all for being such a passonate community for such an amazing comapany. In here, people who desperate to shut up people or opinions they don't like run wild, community manager let it go unchecked, meanwhile I am being sentenced to indefinite content moderation.
