my solo-460 hrs game missing after forced pc shutdown

Dear Klei,

I found a similar topic on this issue here 

and I hoped you could also look into my issue, as it's slightly different  - perhaps there's something you could recommend to restore my main game session, as I've been playing this one world solo for several months now and it'd be such a pity to lose it after all that effort and time. 

I had 3 hosted games synched (saved in cloud), all light modes (no world reset after dying), all played solo. After another forced pc shutdown (that happens regularly, the game/pc just freezes after which I have to shutdown pc manually and start again - and it happened before regularly as well, but never affected my saved DST game or any other games. It happens most probably because of the Windows bugs, as last time I had the same problem for over a year and reinstalling Windows fixed it). The funny thing is that my Klei documents folders are not empty and I didn't lose ALL of my 3 host games I had in the list of my games, only my most recent, 406 hrs one. After that I started DST again twice and my main game didn't appear. Neither online, nor in offline mode. The pc bin is also emty. Can you please take a look at the client.log as below and screenshots of the folders as attached and let me know if there's anything I can do to restore the saved game? 

Would really appreciate your reply! And as much detailed and easy as possible please, as I'm not very educated in terms of uploading saved game files and etc.

yes, the steam DST page says the game is saved in cloud, but I changed my DST settings to local save. I don't understand this: if I have my cloud/local saves on my pc,  how to manually download the saved data into the game (either cloud or local)?

I read several guides about how to copy local files, like this one below, but I've got 2 questions. 1. Can I upload my cloud save to the game? If yes, how? In my Docs/ Klei directory I've got a folder named 'CloudSaves' and a file called 'steam_autocloud.vdf.'

2. The guide below refers to folders named 'Cluster', I've got 3 folders too, I assume that the last world, which disappeared, refers to Cluster_3 folder, as it was created the last, but for some reason the size of this folder (50 Mb) is not as big as Cluster 2 (30 Mb), which makes no sense, because my 2 previous worlds are like 1-2 days of gameplay and my main world is 406 hrs of play, thus shouldn't the size of this folder be huge? I also don't understand why these Cluster folders date back to 2024 and not the current date (shouldn't there be files dated today?). There is another folder called 'ClientSave' and it dates today. Why does the guide below refer to Cluster folders and not 'ClientSave'? To my opinion, it makes more sense to somehow use 'ClientSave' and 'CloudSave' data to restore the game, no? But I don't know how. Other guides I found on the web are way too complicated for me

  • Assuming your world wasn't deleted you should go to the directory
    C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether
    You should find 5 Cluster files each corresponding to the worlds you can host in game.
  • Assuming your world was the first one on the list you will want to move the Cluster_1 file and paste it into your desktop.
  • Once you have done that open DST and create another world with your desired world settings. (If your previous world had caves turn that on as well)
  • Close DST
  • Go back to C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether
    There should be new Cluster_1 file now.
  • Go into the Cluster file that you placed into your desktop and copy the Master and Caves file that you should find inside.
  • Paste the previously mentioned Master and Caves files directly into the new Cluster_1 file that DST made when you generated a new world.
  • Open up the world in DST and see if it worked.
