HowlVoid
On top of the present skills I think it's worth adding passive benefits to make the whole tree less of a one trick pony. 1. Lunar sappling- (this skill really should include a lunar grass tufts equivalent) Plants created by Wormwood count as fertilized the first time they're planted. Wormwood can dig up unfertilized plants without destroying them. 2. Berry bush- (this skill really should be merged with juicy berries) Replanted plants fertilized by Wormwood give +1 more harvest before wilting. Replanted Berry bush regrowth is capped at 6 days 3. Juicy bush- (This should be something else) Replanted plants fertilized by Wormwood give +2 harvests before wilting. Replanted Berry bush regrowth is capped at 5 days (aligns with a none-replanted bush). 4. Monkey tail- Plants exposed to a blooming Wormwood have a 25% chance to give an additional resource when harvested (none crop/mushroom). Effect has to be reapplied once harvested. (Maybe this could affect only plants created by him so they have more value to him) 5. Lureplant- Lureplants harvested by Wormwood give up all their items. Lureplants plants harvest by wormwood also digest items 50% slower. Walrusst
One for crafting beds from seaweed starter kits is one i've thought of (Like planting them sea stack and all in a spot, the funny artillery guys out at sea. You know, the ones you can replant if you kill them.) Say, you could domesticate them for a safe source of barnicles, protection, and you can fertilize them to trade for the seed pods that you can throw (These already exist as an item.) Wormwoods would be neutral/friendly but a bit weaker than wild sea weeds. First draft of the idea was too weird, but if you simplified their domestication process they would be a very interesting base defense/food source/weapon source that fits with wormwoods niche AOE weapons gimmickry. I've thought about the grass source perk, and what might be interesting is if you could graft the grass on to captured animals (This gives naughtyness due to it being a desecration of nature,) and mutate them to in your pocket grass geckos you can pen. That way the wormwoods stick farm is normal saplings, but the grass you get is alternative resource grass. It also gives him something to murder to get the lureplants in worlds that are regular grass worlds. A bonus for fertilizing plants with the expensive compost wraps would be fun too.
