i think it sould just be base to be infinity durability given if he gets more commands with spiders, he sould not have to worry about it breakin

True but I feel like it would be more likely to get into a skill since it’s post rework

I mean woby doesn't break when you talk to him.... So Webbers two command items lasting would let webber control so much better when you don't randomly lose your disengage and engage orders.

So I change the name of the skill And this is what I got so far

  • Oral obliging : cause spiders to “hammer” by hitting the structure you want to be hammered once in case of a miss click use webby whistle to cancel demolition, they eat yucuse snot now when you’re stuck, can rummage through hound mounds(blue and red gems)/burrows (stolen items)/hollow stump (stolen items)/splumonkey pod (stolen items)/marotter den(stolen items)/tidy hidy holes(for collected dust) items gained by rummaging will temporarily be wet due to saliva you can sugar the spiders too start rummaging by blowing the whistle near the thing you want them to rummage through

that would make for a terrible thing, something like that has to be base

Whatever you do don't repeat wormwoods first skill where an absurdly natural base kit skill is mutated into a point tax that nobody likes.

There is the willow way of doing base kit upgrades where they are a great tutorial, and there is the wormwood way where something that just needed to be a thing bricks most interesting builds.

I mean molehills actually give random mining resources even when they've stolen nothing when shoveled.

But wouldn’t those materials be what makes up the whole itself when them rummaging through it to get those materials destroy the hole

it wouldn't be out of place for a rummage to be a timed interaction like a berry bush or the scrapheap.

What do you think I should replace the second half of each alignment with

shadow spider care:

The Queen will reward your loyalty with  the recipe to help your spider friends evade dangers

2 monster meat, 3 silk, and 4 dark pedals

The shadow spider is a spider that will teleport like shadow creatures after attacking. They also have faster walking and attack speed then normal spiders, have 450 health, and deal 30 damage.

You can power spiders by using a new item called _____

After biting a mob That mob will receive 25 planar and normal damage for the next four minutes with mobs of the opposing alignment receiving an extra 10 planar damage per minute and the spider will lose they’re power until next time you power the spiders

Lunar spider care:

The cryptic founder will reward your curiosity, with  the recipe to help your spider friends blitz dangers

2 monster meat, 3 silk, and 4 lune tree blossoms

The lunar spider is a spider that will move like greater gestalts when attacking (Wigfrid’s elding spear ability, but with a larger range). They also have faster walking and attack speed then normal spiders, have 450 health, and deal 30 damage.

I'll format something later, I like the shadow one, for the lunar one I'd almost prefer a brightshade spider instead.

Something about a creepy walking plant/spider hybrid feels very lunar.

I was talking about the second half of each alignment and if I change the lunar one to bright shade, I’d change the shadow one to dark tatter which is a whole other  box of worms

Also another person I was working with to make the edit this skill tree @Creatingabe1125 thought they shouldn’t be locked behind the endgame any more than the alignments inherently are like so like when you unlock them what you unlocked could be used in new world without having to work away back up to endgame

my webby weapons are two stage for that reason, since them being relevant sooner makes the tree more "usable", but them having an upgrade makes them more relevant.
The elding spear design pattern has a lot of potential.

So you got any ideas for the second half of each alignment yet I was thinking something that would affect all spiders not just the new spider types gained through the alignments, how bout you?

I came up with a new skill

    •    social hunting:  befriended spiders will no longer check items to see if they can eat them so now they won’t eat anything unless you feed them

did you think of any thing to replace the second half of each alignment?
