Wortox’s knabsack should be able to catch small critters at a bigger durability cost

Critters like rabbits, spiders, moleworms etc. 
Knabsack needs something to differentiate it from being just a „weapon bugnet”.

Since the creature is bigger, it would obviously use up more durability.

The worst thing about it, it's not the amount of items, but amount of filled slots. I'd just split stack of anything I have. Soul, Grass, Twigs, you name it.

But I do agree with small critter suggestion.

I thought due to bug tracker that maybe spiders could be caught if they were sleeping, but it took no durability. Someone in the hotfix thread said you can no longer catch spiders with the knabsack at all, though, so catching them must have been a bug.

thats stupid, that sould have been a feature....make it the best bug net there is at least at a minimum outclassing any other bug net

I saw reports of it catching several butterflies in a single swing in the server I ran with friends the other day. I wasn't there to see it, but it might have a little area if my eye witness allies can be trusted (They planted the worlds biggest flower field in the oasis desert.)

Still it allowing you to shift-catch things with your teleport would make it really unique is one thing I thought of, lesser small hostile creatures would add value for sure (IE: No innocents like rabbits for non naughty wortox, but he has no qualms about using his capture on spiders, or using the capture to one shot frogs,) but the QOL and the mischief of teleport captures would be more in character.

Absolutely a thing, I enjoy going to killer bee biome and knabbing entire swarms of bees in one swipe if I need more souls.

Wortox's Knabsack is already incredibly powerful and versatile, even if you don't upgrade it- a cheaper double durability aoe bugnet which can also be used as a cheap spear doesn't really need more utility.

That said... I fully support burning a fresh knabsack to catch a beefalo

I was really pleased with how they designed the bugnet part of the sack.

Adding AOE was something I only joked about. I did not expect them to add that. The AOE is great early game.

The AOE is less useful mid or late game after you get jars, but having a double durability cheap bug net alone stays useful forever. And it's still handy and fun to occasionally catch 2 or 3 moongleams every once in awhile.

I'd still love if it could catch rabbits, moles, and birds for more durability. But it's great as it is, can't lie.
