Wizarro, the Spanish conqueror who sought the fountain of eternal youth.

Recommended Posts

This was an idea for a Hamlet character that I've had for years, but now it might make its way into the DST group of characters.

Lore
Wizarro was a Spanish conqueror and explorer, who with his platoon traveled beyond the Pillars of Hercules in search of an exotic land, Thule, where the fountain of eternal youth was believed to flow.
Modern Ulysses, Wizarro and his companions landed at Hamlet, found the source of eternal youth but were exterminated by an abominable being, a titanic serpent that petrified them all.
Only Wizarro, before dying, managed to wet his lips with the water of the miraculous source, thus remaining suspended between the world of the living and that of the dead.
Two centuries have passed, and following Maxwell's crazy experiments, the Constant now rotates around a new malevolent axis. Wizarro's
stasis has been interrupted, now he can move again, but he is neither alive nor dead. His aim is to ferret out the beast that made him an indefinite and suffering being, to get revenge.

Characteristics

Wizarro starts with 150 health, 120 sanity, and 150 hunger.

Wizarro is usually alive, so he has the usual characteristics of any character. During the full moon, however, his nature as the "walking dead" is revealed: Wizarro becomes like a "negative" of himself; all his statistics become "negative"; loses health by eating nutritious food, healing or resting, loses sanity near monsters and at night, loses hunger by eating. This shocking effect also occurs on Lunar Island and in the territories that are under Alter's rule.
In the bad phases, Wizarro sees the screen as if he were wearing Moggles.
Every new lunar cycle, Wizarro must eat telltale hearts otherwise when the full Moon comes, he will die becoming ash and without being able to be resurrected, as he is already dead. Wizarro cannot create telltale heart during the negative phase.
When the lunar balance is upset by Wagstaff, Wizarro must consume telltale hearts every full moon day, until the celestial champion is defeated and the axes of the Constant are once again aligned.

No, just no.

I can't believe I lived to see the day someone would think of a friendly video game character based on Pizarro.

Just change the name and background bro. Warbucks was cut for less than that. :lol:

What's interesting to me is, if Klei removed Warbucks because he was a colonialist. Then why is there still another playable character who is themed after colonialist aristocrats. Now I have no idea if hamlets pigs are native to hamlet or not but they are obviously English inspired. And the royal guards are literally armed in Spanish conquistador armor in a DLC that looks to be inspired by South America. Wish Warbucks was kept and improved, wasted character...

Being Colonialist Aristocrats =\= being a Spaniard famously known for needlessly massacres, dirty moves and being the culprit of the end of the Inca civilization.

Even I that dislike the "Woke culture sensibility" know that Francisco Pizzaro is around the far side of "too controversial figures to be cheered nowadays".

Let's move on of subject.:-?

I was talking about Warbucks and Wilba both being colonial themed. Sorry, should've made it clearer.
