Long seasons duration and giants

Gentlemen,

I usually play long autumn because I'm too slow to set up and I like to take my time, however a couple of things end up messing up my pace:

1- Bearger spawns randomly. Sometimes is day 27, sometimes 28, sometimes 29...I don't know what causes it. I've seen him showing up once at day 30. 

2 - Deerclops spawns around day 32-35. I end up having to postpone or rush my "to do list" on Winter because of him. 

It's a bit of a rush dealing with both of them in a short time spam but it's also challenging because I have to improvise. I don't have the precise "welcome day" like most players (and I use Bearger to deal with wood and spider dens so it's around l ike ~2 days).

Anyway...If I set up my Winter for "long" will the day of Deerclops be pushed back  or will it stay at 33 ?

How is the "Giant's day" adjusted when you up the duration of a season?

Changing all seasons to long will balance out the presence of Bearger, Deerclops and Antlion ? I

There's a grace period before any giant is allowed to spawn, and as a coincidence its only slightly longer than the default autumn.

This grace period only exists once and is never again in play once it finishes

Nothing actually scales

So you are saying that once I set a single season for "long" any giant (from there onwards) will spawn randomly?
