and if so what controller scheme do you use, i wanna play more dst again but cant for the life of me get used to controller for it, maybe i just need to play more with it but still

I play occasionally on the deck. I went through the controller layout and made a highkly custom-made a scheme with whatever felt comfortable for me. The most helpful thing was going into my settings and setting the control input to "Keyboard & Mouse", then setting the right trackpad to the mouse. I also set the left trackpad to a 3x3 grid numpad so I can easily access the first nine slots of my inventory if I need to quickswap for whatever reason.

I play all the time on my Deck. I just use the default controller setup. It probably helps that it's basically the same as the ps4 setup which is what I played prior to getting the Deck , so I was more or less used to it.

The only frustrating thing I run into is it can be tricky to target a boss sometimes when it's surrounded by minions or mobs, and will attack the wrong target. It doesn't happen too much but is annoying when it does.
